I like having a personable connection with the owner but didn't necesarily feel that way here. But still a wonderful stay!“

Is there a couple of things that should be repaired on the property, such as a cracked sink, But nothing that overall affected the functionality of the rental for us. „If we could give 11 stars, we would! Every attention to detail was thought of. The hosts even dropped off an amazing charcuterie board on our arrival. We loved the themed rooms and historical information throughout the house. Would love to stay here again in the summer when we can take advantage of the location on the water. Our young adults loved the Eagle’s Nest and what a beautiful view!“

"The carpet in our room and everywhere was dirty. My feet were black after walking around. Everything felt damp. There were long black hairs everywhere sticking to my daughters toys and clothing. When I mentioned it at checkout she said oh that’s a highly trafficked room. Like that’s an excuse. Fine for a night stay paying through but don’t look too closely anything. Needs a nice deep clean. And maybe a new shower head. "
