Home was newly renovated and very clean. Beds were very comfortable. When assistance was needed owners of cottage were very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make our stay a great experience.“

Couple items to be aware of, lake is quite weedy, and house is right next to busy road which makes opening windows at night an issue. Also, could use more utensils etc to accommodate 15 people. „I don’t feel that they were prepared for summmer went June 19 and no pool. The spa was ready , the volleyball court wasn’t cleared . There was no was clothes or hand towels, no dish towels. One smoke detector and had to call for battery, which they came quickly. There’s lots of sleeping arrangements but not really room for much more. We still had a good time but wish they put a little more effort into the place.“

„We stayed here in April to race Barry-Roubaix. The house was fantastic and in a great location. Everything we needed was available and the house itself was really great. The beds were super comfortable and we had plenty of space. It's located close to a grocery store and some restaurants which was a nice bonus. The owner was very communicative and made it easy for us to check-in. We would stay here again and would definitely recommend it “

„This was my second visit to this lovely "cabin in the woods", it's a great retreat from the everyday stressors of life. This is the place for you, if you're looking for a return to the days of old. There's plenty to do including hiking, basketball, badminton, and other outdoor activities. Indoors we had the benefit of no distractions from phone calls or the television while we played card games, listened to music, and did arts & crafts. We are looking forward to our next getaway!“

„The Lake House was the perfect place to welcome the year’s first snowfall. The property is well maintained and the house was lovely. Wally welcomed us on our first day and we immediately felt comfortable as he gave us some great pointers and recommendations. The kitchen came well equipped, we had plenty of towels and the beds were all clean and comfy. “

„We visited the area for a wedding of a friend. The booking, the checking in and the entire stay was enjoyable! The views of the lake from house is so nice! The house is clean but as stated in other reviews it is a bit of a rustic cottage and could use a few updates but that did not take away the comfortability of feeling right at home!Absolutely beautiful sunrise! I wish we could have been there for a summer stay because the lake looks like it would make for so much fun and it's just steps away ...

„Our family of four adults had a very nice stay, while we were in the area visiting relatives for a week during the winter. The house was very comfortable and roomy. The kitchen was large, well stocked, with a good size table and bright lighting. The living room had lots of comfortable seating. Both bathrooms were good sized. The large garage looked like it was well stocked for summer fun. The owners had the house nicely decorated, and the driveway was clear of snow.“

„Mit dem Namen Best Western hätte ich mehr erwartet... Das Personal war sehr freundlich, aber zu unerfahren (teilweise Aushilfskräfte aus anderen Hotels). Bei Zimmerbezug habe ich gleich einen großen roten Fleck auf dem weißen Bezug entdeckt, der dann auch zügig erneuert wurde. Der Fleck im Teppich blieb dagegen unbemerkt, zumal das Zimmer während unseres Aufenthaltzeitraumes nur gereinigt wurde, wenn man es an der Rezeption erbeten hat.
