„James (the host) was very friendly and attentive. The location of the house was breathtaking. Short drive to the stores and casino (which we enjoyed) Would definitely recommend to family and friends.The only disappointment was that huge tub in the master bathroom is not a whirlpool/jacuzzi tub. It is just a huge tub.“

„This place is definitely a 5-star!!! We utilized this retreat as an Easter getaway with friends and family, plus our dogs! It's beautiful, well maintained and has everything you can think of! The river out front, the beautiful scenery, the swings, the deck, the fully stocked kitchen (with my favorite little cheese cutters), all the ammentities, the kayaks- everything! Fantastic getaway!!!“

„We had a great stay at the Blue Elk Lodge. The place had plenty of space, was very clean, and the communication was great. It is in a very rural area, but super close to Elk Mountain which was the reason for our stay. I would definitely recommend to others!“

„We spent Christmas at this wonderful home in rural Pennsylvania, and it was perfect for our family. With 8 adults, 6 kids, and a dog, there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out, yet the common spaces were spacious enough for us to all gather together comfortably. „We have been staying at the Woodlands for 15 plus years. This was the first time our room overlooked the back parking lot. We didnt get much sleep due to drink people yelling in the parking lot all hours of the night. Plus loud people rinning up and down the hallway. I understand there is a night club and bar in the hotel but we were exhausted the next day from little sleep.“
