Diese schöne Ferienvilla mit nach Süden ausgerichtetem beheiztem Pool, vergrößertem Sonnendeck und Sichtschutz befindet sich in The Villages am Nature's Edge am Lake Pierce. Viel Privatsphäre und schöne ruhige Natur. Innerhalb von 6 Minuten finden Sie zwei wunderschöne Golfplätze: Grenelefe und Diamond Back.

Ruhe, Freiraum und das Golfspiel kombiniert mit der Unterhaltung "Hauptstadt der Welt" Orlando in greifbarer Nähe. Das Walt Disney World Resort, die Universal Studios, Sea World, Discovery Cove, das Kennedy Space Center und Legoland sind nur eine kurze Autofahrt entfernt!

Unsere Villa verfügt über vier Schlafzimmer (inklusive Bonuszimmer), zwei Badezimmer, eine große Küche, ein Wohnzimmer. Hauptschlafzimmer mit Kingsize-Bett und eigenem Bad. Auch zwei Schlafzimmer mit gemeinsamem Bad. Ein Queen-Schlafzimmer, ein Zweibettzimmer und ein Bonus-Zimmer! Ideal für einen Urlaub mit zwei Paaren. Unsere Villa ist für Ihren Komfort voll klimatisiert und verfügt über drei Fernseher, der große 47-Zoll-Fernseher im Wohnzimmer auch mit DVD.

Der Wohnbereich ist offen geschnitten, hell und geräumig. Die Küche mit Geschirrspüler, Entsorgung, Mikrowelle und Kühlschrank, separater Raum mit Waschmaschine und Trockner. Die Küchenecke verfügt über einen runden Tisch mit vier Stühlen und im Wohnbereich einen weiteren Tisch mit sechs Stühlen.

Draußen im Hintergrund finden Sie eine Veranda, einen großen Pool und einen geräumigen abgeschirmten Bereich, der von Gras umgeben ist. Immer Sonne oder Schatten zum Genießen. Ein brandneues Grillgeschenk! Die Bewässerung hängt an einem Brunnen, also immer einem schönen, grünen Garten.

Everything was as expected and worked perfectly for our need. We did have a couple issues which were easily mitigated by the owner. They were easy to reach and quick to respond. We elected to have the pool heated (in October) which was the only way I would get in the pool (I like a warm pool). The ambient temperature was unseasonably cool and the pool heat was just not enough for me to be willing to swim. The owner did make an adjust to the pool heat which improved the condition enough for me to swim but unfortunately our trip was half over by the time the pool was regulated. The kitchen was well stocked. Everything we needed was available and we cooked almost every meal while we were there.

Home away from home!
This was our second stay at this property and we had a great time, just as expected. We love the quiet neighborhood, friendly neighbors, and the privacy that this place offers. It's away from the hustle and bustle of the city but close enough that it didn't matter to us. Less than 10 minutes to a Dollar general and less than 20 to Haines City for several bigger grocery options. There's also a Super Walmart less than 20 minutes away in Lake Wales. The pool was chilly (we opted not to heat in early April) but my kids didn't mind. 90 minutes to Vero Beach and a little further to Clearwater/St. Pete's made for nice day trips to both coasts and we had beautiful weather. We skipped Disney this trip but Orlando is just under an hour and an easy trip. House is clean and had everything we needed. There were even some nice upgrades since the last time we stayed, my husband and I were excited for the new master bedroom furniture as the footposts of the old bed were a calf/shin/kneecap killer. Glad to see that remedied. Don't hesitate if you don't mind being a little farther away from things and don't want a rental feel. We felt like we were in the middle of a cozy neighborhood where people actually live (and work all day) because it's so quiet... kids riding bikes in the street and friendly people. Felt like home! The property is very adequate, but the location is sort of out of the way. I guess if you are familiar with some of the back roads, you can get to most of what you need in 15-20 minutes. It took us awhile to learn this.

Labor Day visit
First impressions are everything. Walked into home and thermostat was at 80 degrees. At 10:00 after got back from din we it was still 76 degrees in the house. The house should be set up for guest arrival and comfortable. Next, every bed was as hard as a rock and very, very old. I had to go to Wal-Mart and get a memory foam topper just to sleep. I really wanted to like this home but these two things really set the tone for this visit. The house was dated, but clean and as described and shown. I thought this property was on a golf course but apparently that closed several years ago just remnants of it were still visible. This could be a great spot just need to take care of the things noted and would be a great place to stay.

All the comforts of home!
We had a great week at this villa. It had everything we needed and was the perfect location for us (to visit our family in Lake Wales, Disney and Legoland). Others may think it's a little off the beaten path but we loved the area. Neighbor is very friendly and even put the trash and recycling out for us. My kids loved the pool (beware it's heavily chlorinated so bring goggles if you are an underwater swimmer like my son and make sure you shower before and after). There was an assortment of pool floats and sand toys available which was great even though we had brought our own. Bring your own beach towels (or buy some at the Dollar General or Walmart not too far away). Beds were on the firm side but we prefer that so it didn't bother us. Not a terrible drive from Tampa or Orlando (about an hour). So nice to have laundry for the week! It was super clean when we arrived and everything worked as it should. Guestbook had a lot of great info. We had plenty of space for the 4 of us (2 adults and 2 kids ages 4 and 10). Can't say enough great things, it was the perfect home away from home.

We really enjoyed the house set-up. The pool was the best item for my husband. Our neighbours where great and very helpful. The owners were quick and efficient when we had to contact them. Very relaxing location and great to see the outdoor live in our back yard. We enjoyed walking down to the entrance to see if the alligators and turtles where out sun tanning. Disappointing
The good points - nice peaceful residential location, pool heat was offered at a discount, property owner was quick to respond to emails. Not so good - no management company so no one local to help with issues, no hand soap provided in either bathroom, not even a hotel-style mini soap, no kitchen/bathroom cleaning products at all, and towels were apparently counted before arrival with dire warnings in case we took any with us. We stayed 12 days and it would have been nice to have been able to have wiped down surfaces with something other than water. The pool had areas of the surface missing and was grubby, including slimy green algae around the area just above the waterline. It was useable, just not very pleasant. An area of screen was missing on arrival so insects came in. Hurricane Ian caused several more areas of screen to be lost whilst we were there so even more insects but that was out of the immediate control of the owner. Disappointed that owner did not contact us before Hurricane to see if we needed help or advice and only contacted us afterwards to say they hoped we were safe, was there any damage to the villa. We told them of the water leaks into kitchen and front bedroom but heard nothing more. Also no flashlight in whole property and everywhere was sold out prior to hurricane's arrival. Villa is dated, but ok. Plastic mattress cover in master suite (didn't check others) was unpleasant to sleep on and reminiscent of a nursing home. Sadly not a luxurious experience, would say villa is far more suited to long stay snow birds rather than short stay holiday renters. Big shout out to wonderful neighbour Bob who acted as unofficial property handyman whilst we were there.

This place was really nice and open. We all had a great time staying here. The neighbors are nice. Loved having a pool right in the backyard. It was a great get a way. Peppa Pig Land was super easy to get to. The only down fall was the master bed was awful, ended up sleeping in another bed.

A fine stay but there are considerations you should weigh.
I was there during a change in management, I'm going to try to separate our experience there from what it should be moving forward. The pictures don't do this property justice, it is much larger and prettier than it looks in the ad. This place is at least an hour drive from anything (30 minutes to a Walmart for groceries), So expect to spend at minimum 2 hours a day driving. It is brutally tiring if you have even a half full itinerary for Florida/ Orlando. Beaches are a minimum 4 hours driving and we were once in the car for 6 hours just going to Orlando but got stuck in traffic. In terms of the house itself.. The beds all have hard mattresses. This may be a bonus for you, but if you have even one person who has a hard time sleeping on a hard mattress, it's going to be a negative. All the beds and pillows have plastic coverings under them, making them loud and slippery. Sleeping isn't really affected unless someone is a light sleeper of which the noise may wake them up. There are two inconvenient (likely Covid related) policies in place. 1) previous tenants cannot leave behind condiments in the fridge, meaning we arrived to a completely empty fridge. This may be a positive, but for us, it meant we had to buy things like mustard, ketchup etc that weren't even half empty when we left. The second is that people cannot leave behind pool toys and the like. So the selection is very poor. Hopefully these two policies can be lifted, as the inconvenience of an additional $30 for most people outweighs the inconvenience of tossing everything in the fridge in the garbage if they so choose. When we were there, they did have a baby floater, arm floaties and 2 children's life vests. There were no functioning pool accessories for adults available aside from a beach ball. One of the rooms is a repurposed garage (the queen bed) and the room runs hot in the summer (June) because the AC does not appear to cool the room well. Meaning a door needs to be left open at all times for a little airflow. The neighbors are wonderful and the keep the backyard mowed so you can walk down next to the lake and enjoy it if you look hard, you can find remnants of the old golf course the community was built on. Never seen any gators near the house but we did at a local bar called "Cherry Pocket" (5 minute drive) which you can visit, walk along the boat docks and see lots of them. They also sell gator nuggets. Lastly, communication with the owner was excellent. 4/5

Beautiful home but very dirty.
My husband & myself arrived around 10pm May 20th to this Beautiful house. We half checked over the house due to being tired from our travels. We tried to go to bed and found tons of black hair when we pulled back the blanket to the king bed, After taking it off to possibly put another top sheet on we found all the bedding in the closet to have hair on them. Saturday morning we woke up to continue looking over the home, We ended up finding trash under a spare bed. A pacifier behind our king bed, the walls were sticky along with the inside of the lamp shade. We made our way out to the pool where we found a dirty pool. We tried to brush it but that didn’t help. My husband tried swimming one time and he was slimy from just five minutes, the pool had no chemical smell what so ever. We didn’t use pool again after that, Which was very disappointing! We found chips out by the pool, And food by the couch and under the kitchen table. I have photo’s of everything with it being dated & time stamped. This house was NOT cleaned before we showed up.The company that cleans this house unfortunately made the homeowners loose out on returning customers, We will not be recommending this house to anyone. For the price I paid for this house I shouldn’t have had to go shopping for laundry soap to rewash everything. Washing everything took away from our Anniversary and money spent on doing what we came to Florida for! When looking at this post it tells you in BIG LETTERS heated pool,Which it’s NOT! You have to pay $25.00 a day to heat it. You’re not told this until you get the online guest book sent to you. With a bunch of instructions that the cleaning company wants done before you leave. If you plan to go to Disney you will have an hour drive with all the traffic, etc. Save yourself and book a house that’s a bit more money and stay closer to Disney. The owner is great at replying to messages with questions I had before arriving!

Relaxing
It was a nice place to stay. Very relaxing. Only down fall we had was I asked for more towels and wash cloths and never received them
