We used this motel many times years ago. It was always a nice place. This time, it was bad. I booked a king bed suite. This was the first time that I was away from my special needs child in 10 years. This was a special occasion for me. When we arrived, we had to call a call center. The person that handled us was very hard to understand. She wouldn’t give us a king room. So I asked for a refund of a night if she wouldn’t give us a king bed. Of course she refused. She did give us the room that we had already paid for. Well, the towels had holes in them. We had to go to target and get toilet paper because there wasn’t any. The refrigerator made a horrible noise and neither one of us could sleep. The bed was hard and the pillows, well, I should have bought some when I went to target. Oh! And get this! The call center said that there weren’t any king beds available. We were the only car in the lot for 2 days! I’m really disappointed and feel like we were really taken advantage of. This was to be a time away to rest and rejuvenate to be able to be a better caregiver. Instead, it was stressful and a huge disappointment.
