„Die Übergabe von Julie war sehr verlässlich und humorvoll. Die Lodge ist tadellos in Schuss. Wir empfanden ein sehr gutes Preis- Leistungs- Verhältnis. Im Schwimmbad (extra Kosten von ca. 25 Pfund pro Tag und Familie) konnten wir gut entspannen. Die Gegend mit dem Nationalpark Lake District und Lancaster ist eine Reise wert. Wir haben uns in der gepflegten Lodge sehr wohl gefühlt.“

The sea is visible from literally one small spot on the deck, and even then it is extremely slight. People booking shouldn't book on the proviso the property has any significant views of the sea, or you will be very disappointed. „The lodge had been double booked so another family was already settled into the lodge when I arrived with my two children and family dog. My sister and brother in law arrived from a long journey from Oxford shortly after with their dog. We were planning to celebrate a special birthday and wanted this quite stay after our recent family bereavement. This was extremely disappointing to say the least. „We had a great 2 night stay over Christmas. The pod is clean, cosy and warm and has everything you need for a short stay. The hot tub was amazing and the host was welcoming and helpful.“

„Fantastic location in a very picturesque setting with a lovely little river flowing across the bottom of the field. The Shepherds hut was spotless with home made cakes an eggs supplied by the owner. The only thing that spoiled it for us was the chemical toilet smell that seemed to linger around the hut and we had to burn a lavender candle (provided ) to take it away. Not sure if it is normal for it to smell strongly but looking at previous reviews , probably not. “
