Reserved a camper to take my dad on a fishing trip getaway for his birthday. This was such a good location, and super comfortable. The camper had everything we needed to make the weekend go easy. We towed a 16 foot bass boat out there. Had no issues launching the boat, or docking the boat. The truck and boat trailer fit in nicely next to camper. The dock was like 100 feet from camper, and the launch was about the same distance. I think most of the other people camping at the other sites were there for extended stays. Everyone was super nice, friendly, and gave fishing advice freely :) super useful for such a large body of water. The owners of the camper are local too which is nice. About a block away, Boom bay bar and grill serves up delicious food, and the surroundings in the evening are quiet and peaceful. The beds are comfortable, and the bath and shower are high quality. We started the mornings off with some k cup coffees that were on site. If you're a city slicker like me you may want to bring some extra drinking water to make those coffees tastier :) oh there is also an ice maker :) if you are looking for a weekend getaway, maybe to see the EAA museum, or getting out on the water for some fishing, you can't go wrong with this hidden gem :) to the owners, thanks again for everything :)
