"Very comfortable chalet, well decorated and with all modern conveniences. Fantastic location for exploring west side of Normandy and beyond. Great for beach and cycling (4 bikes provided). Lots of local towns with good markets on different days (local one is on Sunday). Thoroughly enjoyed our week!"

"We had a great stay and fantastic weather. Katia, the owner, was really welcoming and really made us feel at home. The property is a bit quirky but clean and well-equipped with plenty of space outside for relaxing, plus a table tennis room and a covered BBQ area. It's an ideal base for exploring the Normandy sights or riding bikes in the quiet lanes."

"The gite was lovely. It was quiet and we rested well. The bed was clean and comfortable. The shower was very good and clean. We just found the location to far to walk to any bars shop for us as we are older but for people wanting to go on long walks it would be great."

"Stayed here during the 75th anniversary of d-day. On arrival didn't know how to check in but was not a problem as owner lives next door. Great location to easily get to other places. Resident chickens in the garden made our stay welcoming and interesting. One day owner left us fresh eggs and on the last night of our stay left us a bottle of wine and biscuits. Would highly recommend staying here and would love to come back."

"We had a lovely stay in this chalet cottage.... Beach is a short stroll away but if using the car there are generally plenty of places to park......Easy access to places of interest such as Mont St Michel and the Normandy landing beaches...... We really enjoyed our time here."

No reply received to 4 messages sent to the owner over a 4 week period until the day before we arrived. 2. Only 1/4 of a toilet roll provided. 3. We had to make up the bed. 4. "No lounge, no bar it was essentially a ‘Blackpool’ B&B. Also it was further out of town than I thought. Equally, the only restaurant on site was a faux hamburger joint. I stay at IBIS hotels often, and IBIS Ouisterham regularly. Coutances was the worst ever."
