Lone Pine Haus Leavenworth

Located 2 miles out of the beautiful town of Leavenworth, you will find this beautiful home on an acre of land. The picturesque Wenatchee river is right across the street and 2 river floating companies within walking distance. The community bus stop is conveniently located at the street to take you to Leavenworth or Wenatchee. This home features 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a dining room, large living room with a 70 inch TV, eating space in the kitchen and covered parking. There's a washer and dryer. The yard is slightly sloped, makes for a perfect sledding hill! Wineries, breweries, hiking, shopping, skiing all at your fingertips!

The house is stocked with the items to relax, fresh sheets, blankets, wine glasses, dishware, soap, etc for all your vacation needs. When we talk Leavenworth, we talk German, get over to the Munchen Haus for a bratwurst and drink, go to the Hat shop for a crazy hat...need more food try the gluten free pizza at Prusik Pizza!
Need a glass of wine and possibly something new to wear - Wine Girl Wines and Magenta are at your fingertips.
If you are needing to head to a farmers market, 20 minutes east is Wenatchee and the Pybus Market on the waterfront will be there for all your fun needs. I highly recommend walking into Stans as well - it is a store that has stood the test of time in Wenatchee and has grown but has all the fun things you didn't think you needed.
Lake Chelan is another 40 minutes East of Wenatchee where wine touring happens or take a ride on the Lady of the Lake.
Then return to your vacation home and be able to enjoy the night sky, wildlife and river. Your life has never been more uncomplicated when you come and visit Lone Pine. ***Please note that the upper driveway is shared with the RV and there is plenty of parking on the side of the private road. The lower unit is separate from the upper unit. If you are interested in renting both inquire . **** please ask questions, hosting happy to help .

Enjoyed our stay and over all was happy with the property. Very clean bit could use some minor repairs. Had most everything we needed but was not stocked well on paper towels or toilet paper. Loved the location and would stay there again.

A little frustrating…
This has the potential to be a really nice rental, but the constant cooking smells from the downstairs neighbors, the broken window coverings, torn screen door, and broken dishwasher latch were definitely disappointing and a bit offputting. Also, the listing is shown as an entire house, but it is actually split into two units. From the minute, I arrived until we left, there were constant greasy fried smells coming from the lower unit. So probably, some better ventilation would be in order. A little better attention to detail when it comes to cleaning would also be great. The main bathroom floor was not clean and had hair in the corners. The soap was also empty in the bathroom. On the plus side, the home is in a great spot for proximity to downtown Leavenworth and the owners were responsive when we notified them about the latch on the dishwasher.

Not the whole house as pictures show
I should have read the reviews. Pictures show a lovely patio, and looks to be very secluded. The lovely patio is actully not part of the rental. There are people living downstairs, literally down the stairs, its not a seperate house. Its right off the highway, and traffic is pretty loud. The lawn was also very overgrown. It was nice and close to town, and nice to be able to bring all our dogs. The downstairs neighbors were also very nice, along with a nice little neighborhood of people.

Great find
This house had everything we needed! It was spacious enough for the whole family, dog friendly (which was hard to find!), and close to Leavenworth attractions. While it wasn’t walking distance, it was more important for us to stay somewhere we could bring our dog! The property manager was very communicative and the check in/out process was easy. Our only issue was privacy. While it is technically a private home, there was someone staying in an RV in the driveway and the house was a duplex with an interior staircase that was blocked off in the middle by a shelf then went down to the lower unit. These tenants didn’t bother us at all. It just wasn’t as private as we expected.

Good space for family gathering.
Close to town and activities. Large living and dining area for gathering at the end of the day. Large bedrooms. I was a bit uncomfortable with the attachment to the unit below and unsure of their access to our unit. I thought vrbo advertised as single family rentals. We did enjoy our time in Leavenworth.

Ring in the New Year with a winter mini vacation
In lieu of Christmas gifts we took our adult family on a mini vacation. We loved sledding, dining and the snow. Lynn was super responsive and accommodating. We loved it so much we plan to come back in 2023.

After reading last reviews I was skeptical in my decision but I decided to give it a shot. Now I can say I don’t regret making that decision. The house was cleaned, Organized, has everything you need if you want to cook and stay in, beds were comfy, the freeway noise is there but it really is not that bad. We came here as a family and I have a 1 year old and even he was able to fall as sleep and sleep well. What we loved the most was that it’s 8 minutes from Leavenworth. Give it a try, some times we need to see the place and be there to know how comfortable it is for us, since we all are very different.

It was a great location for our family. We were in town for a wedding and stayed there with my family and one family friend. Overall everything was good. Clean, great location, great outdoor space, laundry, etc. The only improvement I would suggest is having more cooking materials and basic cooking ingredients. But it was good overall!

TV Travesty
For gosh sakes, it's football season! Couldn't get the roku tv to display one football game. My guest was disappointed. Fridge had a leak and dispensed water on the floor every morning. The noise from the highway outside was sleep disturbing. However, great location in relation to Leavenworth. We had a brown bear visit our garbage on the first night. Guest bedroom should not be a futon. Upon reserving this VRBO, I did not know there was a tenant in the basement! If so, I would not have reserved this house. Also, if you are going to ask your guest to do the laundry, you should get a washer that is a bit newer with a larger capacity.

Adventure weekend lodging
The house was perfect lodging for our weekend of trail running! Cute decor, towels and linens were fresh, and it felt updated. The coffee makers is a Keurig so plan accordingly and the rest of kitchen had many supplies to meet our needs. The keyless entry was nice. The address in the email said "road" and the actually is "drive" so our GPS sent us towards an orchard so it took us a bit of driving back and forth to figure it out. The master bathroom shower did not get nearly as warm as the hall bathroom. We didn't spend much awake time at the house but it was just perfect for what we needed and the beds were comfy! Thanks! Would totally stay again!

Not too impressed
First off the house was cute, we liked the decor and the corn hole game. The down falls for us was the loudness of the highway made it very hard to get sleep, didn't feel comfortable about the tenant staying in the bottom part of the house and the spare bathroom bathtub wasn't very clean. I also was pretty disappointed because we were supposed to stay 3 nights but the one night was enough for us so we checked out. When I mentioned a refund for the lastnight we were supposed to stay the lady I was talking with stopped messaging back. So that's why I rated so low.

Nice place for a group stay
We enjoyed our time at the house. The kitchen was well stocked and the house was in a good location close to Leavenworth. The host was super responsive and access was very easy. The one thing that could be improved was that we had a group of six and of the three couches, only one was comfortable limiting our ability to hang out in the living room. Other than that, great place!

Very clean & spacious
The property was very clean and matched the listing as posted. Had everything we needed and beds were comfortable. Only 2-3 minutes from town. Only downside was road noise. Visit Silvara Winery if you stay here, super close and beautiful property to enjoy a glass of wine.
