Enjoy a stunning view of the St. Lawrence River while relaxing in a lounger on the deck sipping your favourite drink while the swans swim by and the boats cruise the river.
From the May 24th weekend to Thanksgiving Weekend (Canadian) the large deck is appointed with four Muskoka chairs, a propane fire pit, a patio heater, two sun loungers, patio furniture, two umbrellas with stands on wheels, and a propane BBQ. In the fall and winter the deck has six Muskoka chairs, a propane fire pit, a patio heater, and a propane bbq,
The dining and living rooms are open concept with a dining table with chairs for six people, a cozy electric fireplace, two sofas, three chairs, an ottoman, a coffee table, smart TV, and an Alexa. There are various shelves with games and books for family fun and reading pleasure.
The kitchen is fully equipped. There are stainless steel appliances including a fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, and toaster. For coffee and tea, there are a Keurig coffee maker and electric kettle. The kitchen is complete with all you need to cook and BBQ. Basics such as spices, salt, pepper, coffee, tea, and condiments are provided along with dishwasher soap and laundry detergent.
All bedding and towels are provided as well as wifi.
For your outside enjoyment in the summer, there are two kayaks, a canoe, fishing rods, and four mountain bikes (26"). Four adult life jackets (2x L and 2x M) are supplied along with bike helmets and locks. If you bring kids, please bring your own children's life jackets and helmets. In the winter the area is renowned for ice fishing, snowmobiling, and cross-country skiing.
There is a private dock located in front of the cottage (Available for use in the summer. For other times, please check with owner). It measures 40' x 8'. It is arranged for boat docking on the east side. Two Muskoka chairs are on the end of the dock for enjoying a morning coffee while watching the sunrise. The water depth at the dock is variable and can vary throughout the year. Please contact the hosts for the current depth.
If you plan on bringing your own boat, there is a Parks Canada boat launch located at Mallorytown Landing just two minutes drive. This is an excellent facility. Parks Canada does charge for the launch. You can park your trailer on the cottage property, but there is a length limit of 25' including the hitch. Please contact the hosts for detailed information.
For groceries, the bigger stores are found in Gananoque or Brockville, but for the last minute, there is the Lighthouse on the Parkway west of the cottage or the local Freshmart (locally known as Purcell's) to the north. Both are a short five and seven-minute drive respectively.
The 1000 Islands is your ideal vacation spot whether you are planning a romantic getaway, a family vacation, or enjoying time with friends. World-renowned for its beauty, there are numerous ways to explore.
In the area are golf courses, national parks, beautiful hiking trails, fishing, etc. Boat rentals are available at nearby Pecks Marina or river cruises from Brockville, Rockport, or Gananoque. There is a 37km paved bike path right at your front door. For evening entertainment there is the Thousand Islands Playhouse in Gananoque.
The cottage is located a short fifteen-minute drive from the US border at the Thousand Islands bridge for day trips to Clayton or Alexandria Bay (ABay as it's commonly known).
About Our Cottage:
On-site parties or group events are strictly prohibited. There is a Township noise restriction from 10pm to 8am.
Bugs and insects are part of the cottage experience. Please make sure to turn off all outdoor lights at night and keep doors and windows closed as much as possible.
The cottage is NOT wheelchair accessible. There are 31 steps down to the cottage.
The cottage is completely furnished and is available year-round. It is a four-season home. The minimum length of stay is 6 nights in June, July, August, and September. For the remaining months there is a 2 night minimum stay. Check-in is 3 pm and checkout is 11 am. No tents are permitted. No parties are permitted. The cottage is on a quiet family-oriented bay.

The cottage is on a septic system. Only toilet paper may be put down the toilet. Any damage to the system as a result of incorrect use will be charged to the renter.
The water comes from a well. The water has been tested, is fresh, and is safe to drink.
