„This place was amazing. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. We got there during a snow storm and I reached out to the host and she let us check in early. The check in was simple! The place looked like the pictures and was clean and very cute. The small details made it so special and the Christmas tree was still up so we were able to enjoy a "white Christmas" vibe. „What a beautiful property in the perfect setting. Very clean and well appointed throughout. Everything you could need is provided to include a very nice hot-tub, satellite internet, fireplace, and a grill. There are a few neighbors in the area that are not too close to be an issue. „My wife and I had a great stay at The Post House, easy access to Main Street where most all the shops and restaurants are located, just one block away. There were a couple of small things that would have made our stay even better. Better lighting in the kitchen and room darkening shades for the bedroom windows, but very minor issues our stay was great and we have already booked for the fall next year.“

„We enjoyed our stay at Land of Oz. The children and adults enjoyed the downstairs sitting area and game room. Plenty of room for all us beautiful location and great parking for four vehicles. There are a few minor things that needed fixing but over all great place!! The owner was always quick to respond to any concerns. Thanks for welcoming us into your home!!“

„We visited this cabin for our youngest’s 2nd birthday, and our first overnight trip as a family of four. It couldn’t have been more perfect for us. Our toddlers love watching Little House on the Prairie, and they really thought we were staying at “Laura and Mary’s” cabin. We were only about a 20 minute drive to the sledding hill at Beech mountain, and close to lots of dining options. I had higher expectations...

"I had slightly higher expectations before arriving at the hotel. The check-in staff were fine, but I was hoping for a bit more of that Southern hospitality. When we got to our room, we noticed a lot of noise from the road, so we went back down to request a room change, which they handled without any issues—this was fantastic. The room itself was quite nice, with a very comfortable bed, though the bathroom was a bit small but functional. I also want to highlight the number and quality of the towels, which were excellent. Unfortunately, we didn’t enjoy the breakfast much. It was impossible to avoid single-use plastic, which, as Europeans, we find difficult due to the amount of waste it generates. The dining area also felt a bit drab and uninviting. Another downside was the housekeeping. Despite requesting, confirming, and leaving the sign on the door for daily cleaning, we returned one evening to find that no one had come to clean the room, which was disappointing."
