"The motel is very nice. It is clean and comfortable. The staff was great. It is in a good location about halfway between Harbor Springs and Petoskey, so getting to either place is quick. The only problem I had at all was that the people in the rooms near me liked to stand outside by their cars and talk (which, since it is a motel, was right outside my room) and the walls are a little thin, but I may have just had bad luck on that count, and there is probably not much the motel could do about...

"Breakfast had a good selection, the room was clean but the carpet looked old but no dirt on my white socks. The price is great for the value. The room was quiet the A/C unit was quiet and the hot water was hot. Had more the usual gym equipment that you find in a hotel. So I would definitely go back there and recommended it to my friends. We were allowed to check in a bit early because the room was ready. Hallway floors are uneven which might be a challenge for guests with mobility issues. "This is my new favorite hotel in the region. I was looking for a place that had old-time character and elegance. Terrace Inn had it. There's no elevator and the shower was small, but we expect this from a historic building. The bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning was a huge relief from the heat and humidity outside. The breakfast was wonderful - the staff served the food and walked around refilling coffee. It was like eating at a restaurant rather than the typical continental breakfast...

" Right on beautiful Lake Paradise with dock and screened in porch. Very quaint and had everything we needed. Will return as soon as we can. Great food across the street at Clyde's Place and just down the street at Harbor Light's Grill. Both in walking distance. A little peace of paradise."

"We loved the look and feel of the cabin. It was cozy and we really loved having a fire on those cool, early spring nights. We enjoyed seeing wild turkeys, deer, chipmunks, & squirrels. The Tunnel of Trees was beautiful! Unfortunately we didn't find any Petoskey stones. Maybe next year. The only tiny downside was the traffic noise during the daytime. But we would definitely want to rent this property again!"
