Pros: location is excellent. Very walkable to Parque Kenny, shopping, and many restaurants. The building is quiet.
Cons: The check-in process was very poor. After traveling for over 16 hours, we were met by a clueless front desk person who said he had no idea who we were or what we were doing there. It turns out that all the apartments in this building are managed by different owners and we were supposed to have received check-in instructions from Wynwood prior to our arrival but never did. The person at the front desk ultimately gave us the keys to the wrong apartment since he said those were the only keys available that were given to him. One hour later we were told we were in the wrong apartment and needed to leave. I ended up contacting Wynwood directly and they finally gave me the correct check in instructions and a PIN number to enter the correct apartment. Overall it was a huge hassle!
The apartment itself is semi-clean, although very dusty so bring your allergy meds. One toilet was clogged most of our stay and smelled badly the entire time. The clothing dryer did not work properly and we had to air dry our things. The apartment is also extremely humid and it has an intense humid odor that was only alleviated by leaving the windows open 24/7. There are TVs available but you have to use your own netflix account to log in. No basic channels are available.
Overall I give it 3/5 stars. There’s better places to stay in Miraflores.
