„What can i say, everything was perfect. Upon entering the building using the very clear instructions and getting our key, to entering the room. Room 2 Coniston. It was absolutely spotless, very spacious with a nice homely feel to it. Kitchen area was really good, all the appliances and accessories we needed. Very comfy & large bed. Dog friendly room with a dog bed, bowl, treats and towel. Booked again for November Perfect location, you really are at the centre of the town. “

„I had a fantastic three-night stay at this lodge. The place was exceptionally clean and tidy, with thoughtful touches throughout that truly added comfort and joy to the experience. Check-in was seamless, and the host was very responsive and helpful throughout my stay. The lodge is well-equipped with everything you might need, showing great attention to detail. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and will definitely be booking again in the future. Highly recommended!“

„Der Aufenthalt an sich war sehr schön. Das alte Cottage hat Charme, ist gut gelegen für Ausflüge im Lake District. Leider war es für unsere Vorstellung an einigen Stellen nicht besonders sauber. Das Spinnweben in einem alten Haus sind, ist verständlich. Das aber der einzige sehr akte Kleiderschrank z.B. schon vollgestopft mit Bettzeug usw. ist, fanden wir nicht so schön. Leider sind hauptsächlich in der oberen Etage Kleidermotten zu finden, wahrscheinlich wegen der schon sehr alten Teppiche. Der ...

„ Welcome from Emma (and her mom) who were carrying out some gardening when we arrived was very warm and welcoming. We could not park on arrival due to a contractor being on site, blocking the entrance. The property was really clean and tidy, with everything you could wish for a short stay, even a welcome bottle of Prosecco! We did not realise that the ground floor and first floor flat directly opposite were long term lets. The upper floor resident on our first night had some sort of get together ...

„We stayed here with our four 20-something children, their partners and our mothers to celebrate a few birthdays. The house is a great size for our group. Bedrooms very comfortable, bathrooms great and the kitchen a good space. The living room and dining room are also great sizes for large groups. If there was only one downside it would be that the house would benefit from a refreshen-up, but everything worked for us for our stay, and we would stay again!!“

„Wer mit dem Zug reist und nicht lange mit dem Gepäck unterwegs sein will, ist hier genau richtig. Das Hotel ist praktisch. Die Zimmer sind sauber und praktisch, wer keine speziellen Ansprüche hat. Von Windermere kann man viel unternehmen. Es ist ein Knotenpunkt für die Busse im Lake District. Man kann auch Schiff fahren oder zu Fuss auf einer Wanderung unterwegs sein.“

"Außenanlagen, äußeres Erscheinungsbild sehr gepflegt, sehr schönes, viktorianischesGebäude. Fenster nur minimal zu öffnen, Aussicht auf Mülltonnen, Badezimmer renovierungsbedürftig. Abendessen, 3- Gang- Menu akzeptabel, aber Preis- Leistungs - Verhältnis stimmt nicht. Die oben angeführten Kritikpunkte werden wahrscheinlich relativiert bei schönem Wetter durch die landschaftlich herrliche Umgebung und die damit verbundenen vielfältigen Freizeitmöglichkeiten Wir hatten bei unserem Aufenthalt im August leider das Pech wegen des extrem schlechten Wetters - ca 14 Grad, Regen und starkem Wind- praktisch nichts im Freien unternehmen zu können. "
