„Im Gang hat es intensiv nach Schimmel gerochen. Es gab keinen Zimmerserveice so daß das wir kein Tolettenpapier mehr hatten. Das Personal bemühte sich unseren Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Obwohl die Lage des Hotels sehr schön war werden wir dieses Hotel nicht mehr besuchen.“

„Arrived for a 1-night stay and stayed in Room 4 for 3 adults. We parked directly out front where there is off road parking for 2 cars (please note that the curb is not lowered to access this). Location was quite quiet overnight which I was surprised about! Owners were very friendly and offered advice and leaflets on places to visit! „It was a pleasant stay after visiting Alnwick Gardens. The room was about average size but walk up on third floor. The room was clean and as usual air conditioning was provided by opening the window. Parking is available but not for the faint of heart if you are not used to driving in the UK. Would consider staying there again if we are ever in the area.“

„The dining room decor was amazing taken from the ship Olympic. Linen tablecloths changed after every meal. The staff were friendly and super efficient and the food was excellent. The bedroom decor was tired and room servicing was below par, water glasses not cleaned. The bar staff were not always available and when we went for a nightcap after the theatre the bar was shut at just 10pm“

„Our stay was excellent , our original room was having maintenance work done so we were upgraded to a Boutique suite which was beautiful , staff were excellent and friendly , evening meal in the restaurant was excellent with a nice atmosphere , and the breakfast was spot on and well organised with no queue for anything and was very calm , all in all a very nice stay.“
