The host sent us directions that were spot on. As soon as we got out the car, we were all excited to be at such a unique place. A place that's tucked away from city life. The Storybook House was beautiful, clean, full of awesome little baubles that reminded us of many stories, and it felt far away from Indiana. Irises are my favorite flower and the walkway is lined with them! The attention to detail is somethingI have yet to see at any place we've stayed. Things like the interior moulding and the cool dragonfly pullstring for the outside light. We truly loved our stay. We walked to the lookout, coi pond, and the church/graveyard. Love the grounds! Night was my favorite there. We opened the screened windows to hear a chorus of frogs and other nightlife. Barred owls, screech owl, leopard frogs, and bull frogs just to name some we heard. I read through some of the history of the property and how it's been passed down for generations. Cool to be able to read the history. We had a fire, kids made smores, and none of us slept. We went out again to realize the sky was clear and gorgeous! There's a nice view of our milky way. I loved the shower, soft beds, and those recliners. All of us want to come back. Thank you so much again for sharing this special place!
