Unsere Wohnung befindet sich in einer fantastischen Lage, um Ihren Besuch in Lissabon zu beginnen. Es hat eine Aussicht und liegt 5 Gehminuten vom Castelo de São Jorge entfernt. Um ihn herum kochen die typischsten Viertel von Lissabon: das Mouraria-Viertel (in dem angeblich Fado geboren wurde), das Castelo-Viertel und das Alfama-Viertel. Es ist zwei Schritte von Martim Moniz, Baixa, Graça oder Chiado entfernt. Unser Raum ist ideal für Paare, Einzelausflüge und Familien (mit Kindern).
Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich und hell und wurde gerade komplett renoviert. Es hat ca. 50m2, Blick auf das Schloss und die Stadt und befindet sich im 1. Stock eines historischen Gebäudes. Es verfügt über ein Schlafzimmer und ein Wohnzimmer und bietet bequem Platz für 4 Personen. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet und die Toilette ist modern und funktional.
Während Ihres Aufenthalts hinterlassen wir Ihnen einen Führer mit verschiedenen Touren- oder Besuchsplänen, die die besten Orte und Reiserouten enthalten, um Lissabon probieren und entdecken zu können.
Wenn Sie während Ihres Aufenthalts ein Auto benutzen möchten, gibt es in der Umgebung mehrere Parkplätze.
Es gibt viele Restaurants, Terrassen und Terrassen in der Umgebung für jeden Geschmack: von traditioneller portugiesischer Küche über Fischrestaurants (die besten in Lissabon) bis hin zu Fado-Häusern (wo Severa geboren wurde) und internationalen Restaurants. Es hat auch viele traditionelle Geschäfte und Gewerbegebiete. In der Region Mouraria gibt es alles.
Zwei Schritte entfernt erreichen wir Baixa, Chiado, Graça oder Martim Moniz. Zu Fuß oder in der berühmten und traditionellen Straßenbahn Nr. 28.
Martim Moniz hat auch die U-Bahnlinie und mehrere Busse und etwas weiter unten, in Rossio oder Cais do Sodré, gibt es Züge nach Sintra, Estoril und Cascais.

Ausreichend.
Die Wohnung reicht um es auszuhalten, aber gut war es nicht. Im Internet steht Check in um 14 Uhr, wir standen um 14 Uhr vor der Wohnung, hatten bis dahin keinen Code oder Informationen. Auf Rückfrage bekamen wir den Code geschickt, jedoch wurde in der Wohnung noch sauber gemacht und wir sollten um 15 Uhr wiederkommen. Die Vermieterin informierte, dass auf der Platform falsche Angaben gemacht wurden. Die Wohnung wirkte nicht mehr wie auf den Fotos. Es gibt an der Wand einen großen Wasserschaden, die Wände und Möbel und der Rollladen wirken abgenutzt und die Wohnung daher insgesamt heruntergekommen. Viele haben sich hier über den Geruch im Bad beschwert. Anstatt das Problem zu beheben wurden unterschiedliche Duftstäbchen hinter dem Klo platziert, somit war der Gestank plus Duftstäbchengestank in der Wohnung. Die Lage der Wohnung ist sehr zentral, was auch mit sich bringt, dass die Gasse in der Nähe der Wohnung abgeranzt wirkt. Ein Aussichtspunkt ist jedoch in 5 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen und von da aus viele interessante Cafés, Restaurants und Bars. Die Wohnung ist trotz allem insgesamt bewohnbar, nur sollte man seine Vorstellungen anpassen. Positiv hervorzuheben ist die Matratze auf der man gut schläft. Wir sind froh nur 3 Nächte dagewesen zu sein, dafür ist sie eben ausreichend

Schöne Wohnung, aber...
Wir waren Ende September 2023 in der Wohnung. Die Kommunikation vorab war sehr spärlich, aber letztendlich hat alles sehr gut geklappt. Den Schlüssel bekommt man unten in der Pastelaria. Auch unser Wunsch nach einem früheren Check in wurde erfüllt. Die Wohnung ist klein, aber nett eingerichtet. Kaffee, Seife, Toilettenpapier und weitere angenehme Sachen sind da. Bei der Pastelaria bekommt man zur Begrüßung Getränke und pastéis de nata. Die Umgebung allerdings war sehr schmutzig. Auf der Treppe hoch zur Kirche lag nicht nur viel Müll herum, sondern abends auch immer Drogenabhängige, was immer ein unangenehmes Gefühl verursacht. Der von Google empfohlenen Weg zur Wohnung führt am einer engen Straße, in der viele überfüllten Mülleimer standen. Zum Zentrum kommt man schnell zu Fuß hin. So auch zu Martin Moniz, von wo die bekannte Straßenbahn 28 losfährt. Allerdings war die Schlange dort immer sehr, sehr lang. Zusammen gefasst: die Wohnung hat uns gut gefallen, die Gegend war nicht so unser Geschmack.

Good for the price
The apartment is equipped with everything you need and is in a really good location for tourists. We got the keys from the little café under the apartment, which had really nice and helpful staff. What was particularly practical for us was the host's flexibility with regards to the check-in time. The only negative aspects were the smell in the bathroom, which became really unpleasant at times, and the heat in the apartment. The high temperature was particularly difficult to bear at night and it was impossible to ventilate due to mosquitoes. Overall, the accommodation is really good value for money for its location.

There was a television, but no instructions on how to use it. There doesn’t appear to be central heating in the apartment. The bed is very comfortable andi the kitchen as well equipped. The stair is leading up to the apartment are very narrow in the tread, making it dangerous to walk up and down. It took three emails to the host and finally an email to the B&B administrator to get a reply. It is a true you get what you pay for. This is not for those seeking any kind of luxury.

Not up to the expected standards of VRBO listings. Wall paint and plaster in deteriorating state. Tried to distract by leaning a full length mirror against the wall in a narrow hallway - an accident waiting to happen. Flimsy IKEA furniture. We were unable to communicate with the host due to no Wi-Fi after arrival at the front door in the time frame agreed upon.

Smells like sewage
The bathroom has a terrible odor of sewage. Had to keep the door closer so the whole apartment didn't smell horrible. The pull out couch was incredibly uncomfortable and had the previous user's hair in it. I would not recommend this property.

A gateway to Graca
This property was a cute little historic house at the bottom of the new Fenicular de Graca. The property was adequate for 2 to 3 persons, and had been nicely decorated by the host. Wish there had been garbage bags and a colander. but we managed. There happened to be a Festivus going on throughout Lisbon during our stay which imparted a party atmosphere to our stay.

So and so..
The location of the apartment allows to be close to the city center and the metro. The host's communication was also effective and fast. However we encountered several critical issues during our stay. First of all, we were not very satisfied with the cleanliness of the apartment, furthermore there is a musty smell, in fact a piece of the wall is completely ruined due to infiltrations, and a strong unpleasant odor comes from the bathroom. Another unpleasant surprise was the presence of some cockroaches inside the apartment. However, some of these problems may be understandable given the age of the building. Also, no cleaning products were provided, as we stayed for a week, so we had to buy our own. Shower gel and shampoo are also not available. Another critical issue was the discomfort of the sofa bed, which was a little broken and did not allow us to sleep decently, also due to the loud noises coming from the apartment above at indecent hours. So the apartment is ok for those who don't have high expectations, but improvements could certainly be made to ensure that guests can enjoy their stay more comfortably.

Rethink if you consider booking
We stayed in the flat for three nights and I am very happy the weather was nice and Lisbon is a city that has lots to offer because I could not have stayed in the apartment more than for sleeping. It is not in a good state, wall paint peeling off, visible water damages and unclear kitchen. It is also very hot and the bedroom has no windows. However, this would all have been ok had it not been for the extreme odour from the bathroom. I mean, what the f. It reeked like an open sewer system and it made my eyes tear up when using the bathroom resulting in me not having a shower for the duration due to feeling sick when entering the bathroom. We kept the door closed which at least made the apartment smell only moist rather than sewer but in return the bathroom was even worse. The area around the apartment does not feel completely safe, especially not at night. Lots of groups of loud men and dark alleyways we tried to avoid, but as the apartment is where it is this is not completely possible. I have stayed in Lisbon before in other locations and never felt unsafe or scared but this time I did not feel safe walking home. The check in is Contact less. You check in at the cafe and the owners seems like a sweet man. Even got pastel de nata while waiting. However, I have had very little contact w the owners of the apartment as we have not met them and answers are short on the app. I wrote them regarding the bathroom but have not received an answer. So: think twice before booking!

Location is great, property not so much.
Located in the old section of Lisbon, close to the sights and shopping. The host wasn't very responsive, I sent him a note the first morning after we arrived about a sewer smell in the bathroom and never got a reply. This is one of the worst rental experices we have had in 25+ years.

Terrible stay, left after one day
Was booked for two weeks, left property after one night. Got there and there was a sewage odour in the apartment. Contacted the owner about the smell but got no reply. Got a knock on the door that night and a man came in without an introduction, opened a locked cupboard, removed a jug of liquid and proceeded to pour it down the sink, toilet and shower. Then he left without any explanation. As I watch him, it appeared he was trying to disguise the smell by dumping a liquid down the drains. That night we left the kitchen fan on to disperse the smell. The smell was there the following morning. I texted the owner and said we were leaving and wanted a refund of 2/3 of the amount instead of the full amount. Got a reply via text that this was the first time this has happened and should contact VRBO. I sent a reply stating what I witnessed from the man the previous night try to disguise the smell. She then replied that the smell only happens when it rains and it hadn’t rained. I explained that we had contacted VRBO and were leaving on the advise of VRBO. We could not stay in that place risking our health breathing in sewage fumes. Looking at previous reviews, this sewage smell is an ongoing problem. Communication with this owner was terrible. Finally got instructions on entry on the day we arrived, even after numerous phone calls. Apartment was dusty, no soap in shower area, no TV channels, sketchy area. No refund.

It was not a good experience because I couldn’t sleep at all because the smell of mold and bathroom sewage. moreover it was terribly hot even if there were 2 small fans. I had to leave after 2 days. they were kind enough to refund me 1 night that remained.
