„The house on the lake is clean and very cute. A few things to keep in mind… The stairs to the loft are VERY steep and VERY narrow. So both adults and small children may struggle to get up and down, especially with any type of luggage. There are no closets or dressers for your clothes so maybe bring hangers and a hook for behind the door. Everything else was perfect. “

„The house was cozy. Check in was easy. The washer dryer was helpful and there were plenty of towels and blankets. All 3 mattresses were quite uncomfortable, and the couches could use an upgrade. There was only one frying pan in the kitchen, which made cooking a little tricky. The windows may not have been opened for a while as it was quite dusty when I opened them to let in some fresh air. “

„My extended family of 8 just returned from Serenity Woods and we all agree that the property is very aptly named. The whole experience was smooth, serene and the property is just beautiful. „This is a beautiful mid century modern house! The windows in the main room are huge and really fill the room with light, and the couch is large and comfortable. The whole space was very clean, the bathrooms had everything we needed, and the office provided a nice private place to take a zoom meeting or two. Comfortable beds, a pretty three season porch, and it was a perfect relaxing retreat for two teachers looking for peace and quiet on their spring break.“

„My coworkers and I had an excellent weeklong stay while on a work trip. The host communicated well and made check in easy. The property caretaker is friendly and helpful. The house is large and very comfortable and we had no issues during our stay! We hope to return.“

„We made happy memories over a cold January weekend. We cooked together, sat around the fire, played games and dozed in comfortable beds with high quality linens. We enjoyed the view of the water and the twinkling lights on the property at night. The steam shower was divine. If you like cooking, bring good knives, a veggie peeler and good pans. „This was a great, cozy place for my wife and I to stay in Collinsville. The rooms were tastefully decorated, in great shape, updated, clean, and peppered with cute artwork based on the "when pigs can fly" theme that always brought a smile to my face when I found another one. „Considering that area does not have convenient hotels, this location was perfect for the event we attended. It was nice of them to vacate their home so we could stay - though we wish that would have been communicated. There is no extra room with twin beds - at least not functional. The property is nice. Whomever took the pictures did a great job. It worked for us for the short time we were in the area.“
