Our only problem was that being our first time staying in muskoka in the winter we were not prepared for everything being closed. It is a pretty location and I'm sure in the summer there are more options. “

Great cottage in a private setting with great swimming- shallow sandy-bottomed water for the youngsters, but deep off the dock. However: 1/ the yellow floatie thing on the beach and the blue-topped cabana in the background of the photo of the property don't exist. 2/ lower bunkbed is unusable due to lack of support for the mattress 3/ BBQ is past its prime: works, but on its way out. Lid falls off if you're not ...

„Everything was great form the communicating with the owner to what they said the property was. Very quiet and peaceful area and not too far from Bala or Port Carling! Would definitely recommend and will definitely stay there again!.“

„We were really happy with our 3 night stay - our kids shared the room with the bunk beds while the two adult couples split up the remaining two rooms. We spent most of our time out at the dock - swimming, fishing and kayaking. Only minor point for improvement is the need for a few more outdoor chairs but otherwise the property was fantastic. Fully stocked kitchen made the experience seamless. We'd definitely book again.“

„We head great stay with my family and friends, the house was really beautiful and very species, and very comfortable. The living room with large windows look on to the lakefront was breathtaking. The water condition is good and shallow and safe for kids.“

„We had an amazing 2 weeks at this cottage. The pictures do not do it justice. It is large and spacious with amazing waterfront. There are multiple tiers or areas outside, so you can spread out, or all spend time together on the large dock by the waterfront. The hosts thought of everything and were very very responsive. “

„Wer Ruhe sucht ist in Caras "Richview" gut aufgehoben. Für 4 Personen ist das Haus perfekt. Cara ist eine sehr sympathische und zuvorkommende Gastgeberin. Sie ist gut erreichbar und hat den ein oder anderen Tipp für Ausflüge in der Region parat. Das Haus ist einfach aber ausreichend eingerichtet. Am See warten Kanu und Kajaks, sowie ein Tretboot auf die sportlichen Gäste (mit etwas Kondition schafft man die Runde um den ganzen See in gut 2 Stunden). „Nice location and great access to bala groceries and shops. Nice little beach. Nice kayaks, older paddle boat, and shallow water for little kids. Cottage is aging and kept up well. Pillows, linens, and beds are basic and adequate. Great air conditioning. Small washer and dryer was a must for two little kids. Host took a while to respond to messages and there were no checkout instructions, even after sending a message, other than depart by 1100 from the checkin message v“

„Lovely spot. Just surprised that there were no cups, no paper towels or tea towels. No amenities whatsoever. We brought our own coffee maker but could not enjoy a morning coffee. Would love to come back but if you’re traveling you need to bring your own dishes. Weird “

„The location is good. Close to the beach and grocery store. The swim area access slippery and rocky so I recommend to bring water shoes. The lake is not too busy with motor boats so we were able to catch some fish. The hosts were nice and responsive. Overall nice stay.“

„I was highly impressed with the cabin's exterior and interior. Plenty of surrounding forest. Plenty of muskoka villages and lakes nearby. Scenery aplenty.Also, lots of places to go hiking. Wonderful restaurants and cafes.“
