The Flat lay out works well and situation great. Ten minutes walk to cafés and supermarkets at Kew G
Facilities good but no dryer for clothes which I found a bit difficult. Bed comfortable and kitchen well equipped. Good supply of sheets,towels tea towels etc. overall we were very happy.

Wonderful stay!
My daughter and I stayed in this quaint modernized flat for five days. Very clean. Communication was quick, personable and accurate. I would recommend. It is about a 10 minute walk to many amenities such as groceries, bus stop, restaurants, etc.

Not for light sleepers
Pros: the flat is beautiful, the location is good for travel, and Rosie the host is very nice and helpful. Cons: the flat is noisy (train noise every 10 - 15 minutes from 5:30am until after midnight) and the street light outside the bedroom window shined in even around the blinds. The flat is great if you're not a sensitive sleeper like I am. Also, the flat had been completely renovated between booking and staying, so the bathtub in the original listing had been replaced with a shower. The main problem: construction in the flat above. I was not notified of the construction in advance. By the time I arrived, it was too late to find another place. I was there for 2 weeks, and the flat was completely unusable from 8am - 5pm M - F. Overall, the flat needs some adjustments--the blinds in the lounge are see-through at night and should be replaced, needs black out curtains in the bedroom, more hand towels in the kitchen, better and bigger towels in the bathroom and a toilet paper roll holder in the bathroom. Despite all this, if you are not a light sleeper, then I recommend it. But if you are sensitive to noise and light, I cannot recommend it.

A chilly stay in Kew
Apartment is very nice but on the small side. Stayed during first week of December, 2022. Arrived to find a generous bowl of fruit and snacks to welcome us. But no heat was on. Apartment was VERY cold. Could not reach landlady immediately. Then found out the two of three heaters didn’t work. Took hours the first day to get the apartment sort of warm. Had to use space heaters and the stove oven for our entire stay of 5 days. Landlady was difficult to reach, with very little help afterwards. I explained we are older people. She, nor any service people physically came to help us. The landlady admitted she knew the heaters weren’t working and said she would fix them - but couldn’t until after our stay was over. We will not stay here again.

A wonderful area to stay in
My husband and I spent almost 10 weeks at Rosie's place. The location is terrific, we walked along the Thames path, visited excellent local hotels, restaurants, joined Kew Gardens and the swimming Pool at Deer Park. walked to Richmond (great shops, restaurants and local theatre there). There are many buses and Richmond, Kew and Kew Bridge Stations link you with most of greater London by train. The home is cosy but adequate with a washing machine and wifi, which works well. There is a problem drying your clothes as you cannot use the sunny lovely garden shared by the 5 flats in one building and there is no clothes dryer. Another down side is there is an aeroplane overflying the area one per minute as it is on the flight path of Heathrow. You learn to live with this. We really enjoyed it. Rosie is a great property owner and a good person. Rosie please change your black floor mat in the living room! Thank you Rosie! Sue and Mark Lazarus

Loved it!
Lovely flat in a great area. Rosie is very friendly and helpful. Our flight arrived early in the morning and she suggested a great place nearby to have breakfast and we were able to check in as soon as the cleaners had finished. The flat is comfortable, nicely furnished and has everything you need. Would highly recommend!

We Left Early!!
This is the first time that we have been VERY disappointed with our choice of property from HomeAway and its associated companies. Although parking is unrestricted in the street, finding an empty space is a lottery. The owner indicated that either she or the cleaner, would meet us, this did not happen. We were also told that milk would be left, it wasn’t and we therefore could not even have a cup of tea after our journey! We found that the pictures on the site must have been taken at least 15 years ago, judging by the fact that we could not see through the front windows due to overgrown vegetation and the net curtains and blinds were dirty and torn. This apartment requires a complete redecoration or drastic spring-clean. We were requested [in the small print] to leave cash for the cleaner, which we did VERY reluctantly due to it being in the contract This is supposed to be a self-catering apartment and yet no microwave, small plates, egg cups or usable casserole dish are provided. There is no draining facility next to the sink or place to hang tea towels to dry. We found that although bed linen might have been changed, there was an ugly stain on the mattress and the actual pillows were grease stained and visible through the case. The bed was king-size, but the bedroom itself only just, by about 30cm each side. The garden was unusable as the grass was not cut, there were overflowing bins, empty boxes and discarded equipment. In the lounge, my wife hurt her back when sitting down on the sofa. There is a wood support right in the middle of the “upholstered” seating area, with only the seat covering over it and no padding. This could be extremely dangerous. We booked for 3 nights, but we are use too much higher standards and left after only 2.

A good place to stay!
We enjoyed our stay at this flat in the Richmond area of London. Although smaller than we anticipated, we found that it worked for us as we were out and about most days. We loved the quiet residential neighborhood to come home to at the end of each evening. The housekeeper had not only prepared the flat with clean linens, but left us with milk, orange juice, and fresh fruit. Very nice touch and very helpful as we were getting our feet under us. We had a place to park our car, plus it was about an 8 minute walk to the Underground Station to ride into London. We enjoyed being close to the Thames River and especially Kew Gardens where we spent a lovely evening. We wanted to be somewhat close to Heathrow airport so we could get there easily at the end of our stay. Although we could hear planes overhead during the day, things quieted at night and our sleep was never disturbed. We could not have asked for a better location in every way and we could not have asked for a more accommodating hostess than Rosie. I would highly recommend this flat.

Great Place to Stay
We very much enjoyed staying in a neighborhood setting, and being able to walk to the restaurants and pubs. People were very friendly, and we felt immersed in the British culture. We were also able to easily get to public transportation (tube) to get to London, and its countless interesting sites to visit. The flat looks exactly like the pictures, and was clean and tidy. I especially appreciated the fresh linens on the bedding. We really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely recommend this property to someone who prefers a quiet atmosphere, but also wants to be able to go into London to see the sites. A great place to stay, we had everything we needed, and had a wonderful time in town and in London.

Excellent property in a great location
This property is situated in the ideal location for visiting Kew Gardens or the National Archives with all the facilities of Kew Village just a short walk away. The flat is very well appointed and comfortable and is situated in a quiet residential area. Rosie is very helpful and gets top marks for the welcome hamper. There are many books in the property if you enjoy reading and also some dvd's to while an hour or two away.

Comfortable, great value, clean and tidy both indoors and the surrounding outside spaces
Lovely apartment, in a quiet private complex, with secure parking so no charges to pay.Really comfy beds, got everything you need to self cater if necessary. Shame there was no shower, but the water pressure really good So bath filled quickly. Local shops etc and tube station a short walk away and with the amazing Kew gardens opposite would recommend this as an ideal area to use as a base for exploring furtherTo get into central London via the tube, although can get quite busy at peak times, it was fairly easy and payment via contactless card was simple, easier than having to get an oyster card. Can highly recommend.
