This is quintessential London - a historic Georgian House with country feel, mixing tradition and history with clean light contempory interiors and modern conveniences. Newly refurbished.

The perfect balance of having all London has to offer on your door step and feeling away from it all in the cocoon of an exclusive pied a terre apartment.

Accessed through a walled courtyard garden, your private entrance opens to reveal a wow worthy spacious apartment. Arranged over two floors, with floor to ceiling windows ground and first floor.

Downstairs is a fully spec’d kitchen, dining area, living area and cloakroom. Blonde wood stairs lead to a magnificent light filled reading room with floor to ceiling bifold cedar doors opening into your private roof terrace . Furnished with a cocoon chair, bistro table and chairs plus steamer loungers - you can have morning coffee whilst planning your itinerary for the day or evening drinks whilst resting your sight seeing weary legs !

Off the reading room is the master bedroom with grand canopied wrought iron bed and en-suite panelled bathroom

The apartment is integral to the Main house but completely separated and private . The majority of the apartment is courtyard garden facing secluding it from the hubbub of the city outside. The windows to the front, overlook the formal parterre gardens

Externally there is an outdoor room / garage with fitness equipment / table tennis table, wood burner and sofa. Parking by arrangement in the garage or on the street.

Ein toller Ausgangspunkt, um London zu entdecken
Wir haben uns in dieser Ferienwohnung sehr wohl gefühlt und können sie weiter empfehlen. Die Wohnung bietet alles, um eine gute Zeit zu haben und die Lage ist ganz prima zur Erkundung der Stadt geeignet. Sehr netter Kontakt zur Vermieterin.

An extraordinary place to stay
We loved our stay in the wonderful apartment. It was comfortable, clean and spacious. Our host, Laura, was very welcoming and helpful. She allowed us to get in a little early since our flight from the US land in the late morning. She provide us with great directions to a local market and an area in easy walking distance with multiple restaurants and "gastro-pubs." The underground is within close walking distance which made getting to there tourist sights, museum and theaters in central London very easy. We also took the bus on a couple of occasions so we could see more of London other than the area around Parliament, the Palace, and other sights in the center of the city. It was also easy to and from Heathrow on the "tube" (underground). Our stay in London could not have been any better. Thanks Laura.

Lots of room
A well equipped, clean flat with 2 floors and 2 bathrooms. If you have mobility issues, you do have to carry your luggage up stairs. A large comfortable bedroom/bathroom/sitting room upstairs and a pull out couch/kitchen/half bath down. Lots of room for the 4 of us.

This is a lovely unique property. Beautifully decorated and conveniently laid out. The small kitchenette is well equipped and a welcome basket of snacks made it easy to settle in. The first floor has a comfortable dining nook and a sofa for tv viewing. The second floor has a cozy space to curl up with a book. Owner is readily available if help is needed. Convenient to public transportation.

Classy place to stay
Staying with Laura at the Georgian House worked very well for us. Her communications were quick and responsive. Having a kitchen area was a real plus as was the large bathtub. The apartment was lovely with many nice design touches. The location was convenient to a tube stop as well as a grocery store. There were many eateries available within walking distance.

Lovely stay in the outskirts of London
Beautiful home! Very clean. We brought a car and found a spot right across the street to park and leave it during our stay. Laura took care of the permit for us. The tube is just down the street but there are lots of restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance. The WC on the main floor was very nice. A couple things to consider… there is no counter space in the kitchen so we did minimal cooking (toast, soup and salad). The shower curtain space in the tub is very small and it was difficult to shower. We were on the go during our stay so these things weren’t a big deal but it should be pointed out for future guests. Overall we were very happy with the location and the lovely home!

Lovely apartment in Kensal Green area, short walk to Notting Hill. A few minute walk to Kensal Green tube station and the Bakerloo line for easy trips into desired areas of London. Excellent home away from home
The flat in the Georgian House was very well-appointed, our host Laura thought of everything. It is close to buses and underground/overground and we visited some very nice restaurants in the area. The bed was very comfortable and Laura was available quickly if we had any questions. After a busy Christmas with family, this was a welcome respite and a good base for exploring London. There is a large Sainsbury's close by for groceries. The weather was too brisk for sitting outside but this would be a bonus on warmer days. One of the best places we have stayed on our many visits to the UK.

Wonderful Home
We enjoyed our stay. The space was clean and bright. Lovely decor and the upstairs bedding a dream. My two children shared the pull out bed downstairs. If it had been warmer (we visited at the start of December) then I’m certain we could’ve enjoyed the outdoor patio area. Location felt safe - residential area. We did have about 8-10 minute walk to transportation which I guess is normal for London . Nearby restaurants and grocery were convenient. I would stay again. Loved this home. : )

Absolutely amazing stay
We are 3 adults (a family) and stayed here for over 2 weeks. Laura was an amazing host. Very friendly and available if you need her. The location is fantastic- 5 minutes to the underground, close to the bus stop, 5 minutes walk to Sainsbury’s for groceries and a great local pub, The William. Everything was lovely. Communication was great and Laura left a very nice basket of goodies! Location a bit further out than where we’ve stayed previously but the tube stop was nearby. One caveat when taking the tube with luggage-be aware there are lots of steps and no elevator. Wonderful overall.

Simply Delightful. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
During our stay of 10 days, the property's host Laura was simply excellent in communicating with us. The property was perfect: safe, located a 5-minute to the metro/tube subway, elegantly furnished, and well appointed. The Nespresso machine was a real bonus. Laura even provided a selection of helpful items upon our arrival. Laura lives beside the property so it is a true VRBO experience, opposed to a soulless cookie-cutter corporate property management firm serving up mediocre. Thanks so much Laura for everything!

Lovely apartment
A very comfortable place to stay, a short walk to a couple of nice pubs and to Kendal Green tube station. There is plenty of space to relax and the bed is very comfortable. There is very little traffic noise even though it is on a main road. It has a toilet downstairs as well as in the bathroom upstairs which is great. The only downside is the circular shower curtain.

Comfortable base for seeing London and surrounding areas
We felt very comfortable at the home. Laura was a kind host and our only regret is not getting to know her better. We were out and about a lot. It's about a 7 minute walk to the closest tube station which we used a good deal. Also, it seemed like a good location for a pick up by Uber. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much.
