The property is four minutes walk to Bayswater Tube Station, with access to District and Circle Line and also six minutes walk to Royal Oak Station with access to Circle Line, Hammersmith and City Line and six minutes walk to Queensway with access to the Central Line, providing you with easy access to all of London's iconic landmarks and places of interest including Hyde Park, Royal Albert Hall, Kensington Gardens, Madame Tussauds London. From this location, you can easily access Heathrow Airport too via the Heathrow Express from nearby Paddington Station.

Located on the 5th floor, this beautiful Central London flat split into two floors can comfortably accommodate up to four people. The smoke-free property features a living room, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, and a roof terrace.

Good location. Nice balcony. Clean property and nicely furnished. Lift is useful as property is on top floor. Practical kitchen equipment provided, not exhaustive but good for simple cooking. Would benefit from some simple maintenance that is an easy remedy - cupboard door hinge needing a screw in etc

Convenient Stay!

Lucky to find this great apartment on short notice. Modern, clean, comfortable, and quiet. Close to Bayswater tube station and just a few minutes more walk to Queensway station, so all of London is easily accessible. Flat, 15 minute walk to/from Paddington.

Family Summer Holiday

As a family of 3, this lovely 2-level, 2-bed/2-bath flat was perfect for our needs. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and well outfitted (even when we ran into a clogged drain our first night the property managers were quick to send someone out the next day). The full kitchen & living room on the second level of the flat are excellent with everything we might need, including large assortments of both cooking tools and books. The roof terrace is a perfect spot for morning tea or evening beverages. Wifi was fast and reliable, so could have used the flat for a work trip as easily as we did on holiday After a long day of walking London, the elevator (albeit small) was a welcome sight and took us all the way up to the fifth floor. The location of the flat cannot be beat as the neighborhood is populated by normal folks going about their everyday lives, and the shops & services nearby reflect that nature - grocery stores, cafes, pubs, and sundries are within a 2 minute stroll from the building. Waitrose & Partners was recommended as a grocery store and it is both top notch and 90 seconds away from the back of the building. The Bayswater tube station is a 5 minute walk from the building and was our hub of transit for the week, taking us everywhere we needed to go in London. We loved this flat for our purposes and would absolutely stay again AND recommend to our friends & family.

Amazing Flat in Bayswater

Flat is exactly as advertised. Very centric, close to tube stops and Paddington station, convenient grocery shops on same block. Lift was not working part of out stay, but apart from this minor inconvenient, the flat was spectactular. Rooms were ample and clean, and kids enjoyed sleeping in bunk bed! If were ever back in London we will surely consider staying here again.

Family summer vacation

Pros: Great location close to tube, post office, grocery store and pharmacy, so all our needs were covered there. The unit was spacious and well appointed. The beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms were lovely and very spacious. There were a few good restaurants in the area, but also McDonald's, Burger King, Subway and Pizza Hut -- which greeted us as we exited the tube for the first time and prompted our teen to say he felt like he was still in America. We nicknamed the neighborhood New Jersey after seeing this. Cons: Lots of stairs. Elevator only goes to fourth floor, and you have to carry all luggage up the final flight of stairs. Add to that the Bayswater tube (which is close) has no elevator or escalator, so if you're coming by tube you'll have to carry the luggage up stairs there, too. Also, there is a massive construction project right across the street from the bedrooms in this unit. Expect to be awoken early every morning with very loud construction noise for the foreseeable future. This is not the fault of the unit, just a very, very unfortunate drawback to the location for this moment in time. When that project is finished it will be a massive neighborhood improvement, but for now I'll just say we woke every morning for a week to the sounds of saws and jackhammers. It was impossible to sleep, but luckily we had touring plans each day so we'd have been up anyway (although probably an hour or two later if we'd had a choice). I'd give the construction 6-9 months more to quiet down if you want to sleep. We were given an incorrect address for the property and that made our check-in very confusing, but the rental company representative was terrific and met us at the wrong location and took us to the correct one a couple of blocks away. Overall, the rental company was very, very responsive and helpful. We booked this unit two weeks before our trip, after a long-planned lodging in central London was canceled without warning on a competitor site. We were thankful to find this unit on VRBO and it really saved us. I would stay here again even though we prefer central London. The comfort and space of the unit made us very thankful to be there!

Perfectly Located Luxury Flat

I had to set up a place for my father and his partner to stay for a few days in London last minute. The flat is exactly how you see it in the photos and was extremely comfortable and wonderfully located in the heart of London. What was also outstanding was the first rate service we received from the company City Relay that managed it. They helped by picking up my father at the wrong location and bringing him to the Flat address. I had picked this Vrbo and manage the reservation from United States while my dad traveled in last minute looking for a place to stay. I highly recommend the flat and the company city relay that manages it.. Steve

Stay at Lancaster Gate

This property was beautiful ! Two full bathrooms, both with large tubs and the home had two levels and two balconies. Great neighbourhood with easy access to the tube or transit. I was greeted at the property and shown around the flat. Overall it was a fabulous experience and I would absolutely book it again!!!

Nice quiet convenient flat

I spent 10 days visting London in early December and enjoyed this apartment. Great location and very quiet. Lounge and kitchen open and light filled. Bed very comfortable and baths updated and nice. But a couple of issues. First, dishwasher didn't work during the stay. Kitchen sink is basically a bar sink, so not set up to wash dishes. Second, no outlets in the bathrooms. None. Bring extension cords. Third, elevator goes to 4th floor. Flat is on 5th floor. And elevator is very small - big enough for one person and a suitcase, if you take your backpack off. Expect to carry your suitcase up the last flight to the flat (bedrooms on entry floor). But another flight up to the kitchen and lounge.
