„Birds farm is a lovely place to stay for the local Essex or Sussex area. Very quiet in the evenings, despite being just off a busy road. „We liked the cottage very much. It was cosy and had a wonderful view to the River Colne. We found everything we needed. We had 2 trips to London, 1 trip to Flatford Mill, to Wivenhoe, the beach of Mersea Island , to Cudmore Grove and we visited our Englisch friends in West Mersea. „I absolutely loved our stay! It was very comfortable and felt like home. The only thing I could not figure out was the heater/towel rack in the bathroom was not turning on. There was fresh milk in the fridge for coffee or tea (both were provided with sugar) and biscuits (cookies). „The location was pretty nice, being central to the Bury St. Edmunds town center. The location of the room was very difficult to find because the navigation apps we used put us far away from the actual room. We luckily found a mailman who took us to the right location. Other than that, the room was alright and comfortable enough. I’m not too sure it was entirely worth the cost, but it was alright. I’ll say 7/10.“
