A spacious updated family friendly home for your Colorado retreat, with cheerful vintage charm! The Bluebird Basecamp is convenient to Denver, Boulder, Estes Park, Rocky Mountain National Park, Lyons, I25, Longmont United Hospital, Downtown Longmont, the ski areas, and more. Private, quiet, with 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, 2 comfortable living rooms including a fun foosball table, a vintage bar and genuine vintage kitchen with the cookware you will need, gas grill, lots of natural light, a fenced yard, and, ample parking - even for larger RVs. Up to 2 well behaved dogs are allowed with separate agreement and per pet fee *note: second pet fee will be charged separately).
The main bedroom has a queen and a full bed, as well as a private powder room. A full bathroom with tub/shower is located in the hallway between the other two bedrooms. There is a trundle bed with two twin sized mattresses in one room, and a queen bed with office desk and chair in the other room.
Downstairs is a nice comfortable bedroom with a queen bed and desk, just off the entertainment room featuring a vintage bar, mini fridge, Roku TV and sectional sofa. There is a full bath with shower, a large laundry room and plenty of space to spread out.
Beautifully maintained hardwood floors, our sweet vintage blue kitchen, the yard, and space for gathering make for a relaxing, fun, and memorable stay. Please note, while we do provide a well appointed kitchen, including stainless appliances, crock pot, hand mixer, blender, coffee maker, storage containers, dishes and glassware, and a few basic cooking spices, we do not have a dishwasher as we have chosen to preserve the vintage character of the kitchen.
Longmont is a fun and funky small town that has everything you need, including some amazing parks and walking trails, movie theater, boutiques and unique restaurants. We are available to help you with any of the details so you can have a wonderful stay!

Perfect for family with adult children
We chose this property because it had enough bedrooms and bathrooms for parents, two adult single sons, and an adult son and his wife. It was the perfect respite for us all as we planned and attended the sweet private wedding of our daughter. It was EXACTLY as described! Shopping and restaurants were conveniently close in this quiet residential area. There was more than enough offstreet parking for three vehicles. We enjoyed the use of the grill one evening, and made spaghetti for 8 another. The kitchen was well equipped for preparing and serving meals. Many thanks to our host for his hospitality!

Big, Comfy Home in Longmont
This place has lots of room with comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms. Great heating system, which I appreciate in Colorado fall and winter. Good neighborhood. Very clean place. Could use a dishwasher, but has great laundry room downstairs. Well equipped modern kitchen. Beds were fine. Plenty of seating upstairs and downstairs. Pretty good communication. Well located including only 8 minutes to McIntosh Lake for great morning walks or runs as well as being close to Main Street. I would definitely stay again!

Great Place in Longmont
We were a group of three adults and one child. This house was excellent. Communication with the host was great, he was quick to address any concerns and answer any questions. Could not have asked for better service from that perspective. The house was clean and exactly as described in the listing. The beds were very comfortable, kitchen was easy to use. I think my only complaint was the couch in the basement to use while watching TV, I did not find comfortable, but we did not watch that much TV so it didn't hinder us. I would definitely stay in this house again. Loved that I could park my car in the garage, loves that it had a fenced in yard for our young kid, loved the sunroom off the back to enjoy morning coffee. The neighborhood was safe, clean, and convenient. Thanks for a great stay!

Lovely home. So clean and inviting. We had older generation family members who stayed on the main level with minimal steps. The shower/tub combo were hard for them to get out and grab bars would be helpful. Because we were limited to the main floor, a TV would have been nice. Otherwise, a very nice home.

My family and I were in Longmont for a memorial service. I appreciated that this house was centrally located, comfortable with plenty of space and well equipped. We had one issue but Joe responded immediately. I would definitely recommend this vacation rental!

Fabulous VRBO!!
Blue Bird Base Camp is a fabulous property! It is so cute, super clean and comfortable. My sisters and I met in Longmont for a get together and we could not have asked for a perfect home and location. I have stayed in a lot of VBRO properties is this is one of the best. The pictures and description do not do justice. Communication with Joe was very simple and he quickly responded to any questions. We were so impressed how polite all written communication in the home was presented. There were no “no” , just please and thank you. So cordial. One of my sisters is hoping to come back to Longmont with her family and will most definitely stay here.

What a great home to stay in! Updated yet distinctly funky retro vibe in all the right places. Located in a quiet neighborhood yet easily accessible. Clean and cute! The property owner is local and extremely helpful. Would recommend 10/10! We are already planning on staying here again soon.
