The Hollywood Hideaway is nestled in the exclusive Hollywood Hills above the bustle of this famed city, in a serene setting with breathtaking views. This mid-century modern 1000-square-foot home is nestled atop a hill of lavender, dotted with beautiful olive, fig, and citrus trees. Enjoy stunning 180-degree panoramic views of the Hollywood Hills, downtown LA, and on a clear day, the glimmer of the Pacific Ocean. Immerse yourself in this historic neighborhood, which has been featured in films and books for decades and become part of the history.

From your bedroom with a view, you will wake to the sounds of birds chirping, and smells of jasmine, lavender, and orange blossoms. Lemon and tangerine trees rest at the entrance and outdoor couches and lounge chairs give you plenty of space to stretch out and relax on your private pergola. A separate outdoor teak dining table allows you to take work or food outside where you’ll be cocooned with rosemary and unprecedented views. And enjoy our brand new 4-burner BBQ gas grill for alfresco dining.

Most of Hollywood’s studios are only a short drive away as are many fun attractions, like Universal Studios, Griffith Observatory, and The Greek Theater, to name a few. A 12-minute walk takes you to the world-famous outdoor concert venue, The Hollywood Bowl, Hollywood’s Walk of Fame, movie theaters and shops at Hollywood and Highland, and the iconic Grauman’s Chinese Theater. You can drive or walk to Runyon Canyon and explore the beautiful hiking trails while getting breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views of the city.

With the 101 freeway only 3 minutes away, you can get where you need to be with ease. Enjoy a scenic route to visit our gorgeous coastal beaches or shoot downtown for world-class dining, sports venues, concert halls, and museums. The Hideaway is the perfect location for work or holiday travel, alone or with up to 3 additional guests to enjoy the magic of Hollywood.

More delightful details:
Cook with a view in our fully stocked modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances (dishwasher, refrigerator, gas stove/oven, microwave, blender, coffee maker, pots/pans as well as a variety of cooking spices/oils and coffee/tea).

Sleep with a view in a brand-new Queen size bed, and Custom Comfort Organic mattress on hotel quality linens. The ensuite Bathroom has a double sink with Soak-in Tub. And you can still enjoy the views from your own bedroom office workspace.

The open-plan living room hosts a 90" HDTV with AppleTV and sofa.

Plus we recently added a Brand New Queen Size sofa bed that can be used in the Living Room area. (We no longer provide airbeds)

Our vintage mid-century modern dining table seats up to six guests.

A second bathroom with Walk-in Shower is located just off the kitchen.

Common Space Areas:
The entrance garden path and driveway are common spaces with the Owners who live in a separate home on the other side of the property with their own private path that Guests do not have access to. And you may meet their beautiful and friendly family dog roaming the property.

You will have your own designated Garage with access to a Tesla charger.

Fireplace is currently only decorative.

Well-trained Small Dogs Under 30 lbs Approved with our $75 Pet Fee. No Cats.

HOUSE RULES:

It is our mission to ensure that our valued guests enjoy their stay with us! This is a permitted short-term rental with the City of LA. We also have an equally as important commitment to our neighbors and our community. Below are the House Rules that we must enforce. Please read them as well as all your guests prior to confirming your reservation.

This is a short-term rental property only. No Tenants rights apply. You must check-out on the date your contract finishes.

* Minimum age to book is 25 yrs old. Valid photo ID required upon booking, plus names and ages of all your Guests.

* Check-in is after 4 pm | Check out is at 11 am.

MAX # OF OCCUPANTS: 4 people (including infants)
The Property is to be occupied by no more than the maximum sleep number stated on reservation unless approved in writing by Management. If Guest exceeds the occupancy limit and falsifies occupancy information at the time of reservation, Guest shall be subject to eviction. "Occupants" includes small children, infants and any and all visitors. If more than the maximum number is found to be occupying the Property at any time, you agree that a charge of $ 100 per person/per day will be made to your credit card. Additionally, this Agreement may be immediately terminated without a refund of any amounts paid. No Exceptions.

NO PARTIES OR EVENTS
A party is defined as any combination of the following; ANY loud noise and/or excessive drinking that is disruptive to neighboring houses and/or guests outnumbering the maximum amount permitted as defined above. A party will result in an immediate eviction from the property with no refund given under any circumstance. Any exceptions to this policy must be approved by iTrip in writing prior to the arrival date.

NO SMOKING Smoking is allowed outside on the deck only. If any trace of smoke is found inside the home, there will be a strictly enforced $500 fine for the cost to eliminate residual odors.

NO UNAPPROVED PETS. Pet Fee $75

NEIGHBOR COMPLAINTS
Actions by guests that result in neighbor complaints or police being called to the Property will result in a minimum $250 charge, which charge will be used to deal with legal issues and

Wir waren fünf Nächte hier und wären am liebsten einfach geblieben! Das Haus, der Blick, die Terrasse, die Einrichtung, das Equipment, der Garten…. Es war jeden Abend spektakulär, nach Hause zu kommen. Gerade in einer Riesenstaft wie L. A. Ist dieser Ort wirklich ein Hideaway…. Wenn wir wieder kommen, dann hierher!

Beautiful property and good location
We had a wonderful 4-night stay with our young adult children in July. The guest house is one bedroom, but the floor plan is nicely laid out so there is plenty of space for 4 adults. The extra bed was not as advertised - it was an inflatable air mattress which our son used, and our daughter took the couch. It all worked out fine, but was not quite as advertised. Otherwise, our stay was fabulous. The view can't be beat, and the outdoor space for relaxing and dining is private and beautifully landscaped. We like to cook when we travel, and the kitchen was well-appointed and had everything we needed! All-in-all a great stay!

The location had a great view of the city and the Hollywood sign and was near a lot of Hollywood attractions. Although getting to the area was a bit difficult, once we arrived we were greeted by the wonderful Nina . Oasis in Hollywood Hills
Hollywood Hideaway managed by itrip, was an oasis just outside of Hollywood. We felt secluded and safe, nestled among nature, on a winding street, enjoying the outside gathering space. Walks from the property are beautiful, and challenging as we discovered some of LAs secret staircases on our journeys to Hollywood Bowl, Hollywood Blvd, and Runyon Canyon. It was so wonderful to return in the evening to our space with twinkling city views, as well as enjoy the sunrise morning views with coffee. We hope to be back!!! Thank you.

Tranquility in the hills
Our family of four stayed here for a week and greatly enjoyed the peaceful property and its expansive views of downtown L.A., the Hollywood sign and the Griffith Observatory in the distance. We love having access to a kitchen on vacation so that we can buy groceries and cook at home for many of our meals; this space is clean, spacious and beautifully designed. The home has a wonderful outdoor area with a deck, comfortable seating and well-maintained landscaping that offers privacy. We found that driving in the Hollywood Hills can be tricky, so we definitely recommend renting a smaller vehicle and not an SUV, as well as allowing for extra time when driving anywhere. The owners of this home kindly provided the use of one of their garages, which gave us peace of mind without having to worry about tight on-street parking. This home is central to so many things - a 15 minute drive to Warner Brothers Studio, walkable distance to Hollywood Boulevard, a 30-minute drive to the Santa Monica beach and lots of restaurant options, including many solid vegan options which we appreciated. The property managers are responsive and quickly answered a couple of questions we had while settling in for the week. We’re already daydreaming about our next trip to L.A. and are hoping to stay in this home again.

View is spectacular, kitchen completely stocked, nicely decorated, HUGE TV and Nina (the lab) will come by if you like dogs. Photos exactly as shown on website. Gelson's is an excellent nearby grocery store with a tapas bar (try crab cakes and sushi). Danny (the Itrip manager) couldn't be more helpful when we had questions. Highly recommend!!

Amazing Stay in the Hills of LA!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here for the entire week that we were in LA. The owners were very welcoming (as was their super sweet dog!!) and gave great recommendations for local places in the area. Everything was very clean and the views were stunning. The roads to get there are narrow but not a big deal and having a garage is a huge plus so you never have to worry about steer parking. We also were able go use the Tesla charger the entire week which is a huge benefit. We absolutely would recommend staying here and would certainly stay here again if we're in the area.

Amazing place with beautiful views
This is a top notch place to stay in Hollywood. Walking distance to Hollywood Bowl and Hollywood attractions. Beautiful views and you can wake up to see the sunrise & the Hollywood sign. Nice outdoor spaces & dog lovers will enjoy a friendly daily visit from a beautiful black lab named Nina Simone. She is such a nice girl we almost bought her treats while out shopping but weren’t sure about allergies so we passed. Going to Hollywood Bowl for a concert? this place is the best. As described and bonus is a super big screen TV. Did I mention the dog visit? Our favorite amenity.

Great place for a couple’s getaway
This property is exactly as described. Clean, beautiful, and functional. The drive up to the property is super narrow and whether walking or driving is not for the faint of heart - we are in our late 50’s early 60’s and active, but keep in mind that Uber will happily transport you where you want to go. Soaking tub was a real treat!

One word! Amazing!!! This was my first time out west. My husband said I would love it. This bungalow is beautiful. So spacious and right in the center of it all but quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed the vacation and staying at the Hollywood Hideaway. Lily, you were amazing at communicating everything we needed to know. I would easily rent this small home to live in we loved it so much!!!

We loved this find- both for the location and house itself. There is a wonderful, covered patio just outside the doors. The owner’s dog is absolutely precious and such a sweet girl. The interior is spacious and feels clean. Wonderful soaker tub and also a stand up shower. There is a coffee machine and ground coffee available, but you can also walk 10 minutes to Flowering Tree for coffee/ food/ drinks/ etc. Very pleasant area to leisurely walk around the neighborhood to look at houses and accompanying greenery. We briefly met the owners and they are very kind and attentive people. There is garage parking and also communal parking next door. We loved this stay- it truly is a good find.
