Host/ host’s family lives on the property. This was not communicated nor listed on the website. Very noisy, unit was above garage, garage door was being open throughout the night while we were trying to sleep. Beds were hard. No extra pillows or sheets. I had to purchase my own extra items causing me to pay extra for overweight luggage at the airport. We had ants get into our snack that were properly seal and closed. The bathrooms were not clean. Bathroom floor and shower curtains were moldy. On the first night we had no running water. We had to contact the host immediately and no one came to check on the issue even though we were communicated that someone was coming. Host family were a bit rude and condescending to our presence when we initially arrived. I smiled at wife/mom and she rolled her eyes at me. Not sure what that meant. Stay was bad, but location was great since we were 30 minutes away from every where we went. Hosting 0 stars, property location 5 stars.

Could be better
Overall the stay was fine but there’s a lot that was wished for on our end. There weren’t any towels for the shower, no shower hair products despite the listing, and no hand towels. The listing photos show little kitchen extras like coffee, tea, but there was nothing of the like, not even a pitcher to filter water. The beds very hard, the mattress was barely 6 inches tall, and there were low quality bedspread items and hard pillows. No hangers in the closets either. Did we have a safe place to sleep? Yes. Did it create an experience the way these places normally do? No. It really left us wanting more of the basics. I recommend an upgrade to interior design and overall experience to warrant the expensive daily rate.

Not much effort in the location
Though there is a kitchen, there are no pots or pans to cook with. There were no paper towels, so if I had spilled something, I couldn’t clean it up. The toilet paper is just rested on the back of the toilet with no holder. The towels had stains on them. The bed is just a box spring with no mattress. The whole place was clearly not cleaned between renters. The wifi did not work all week. When trying to check in, the host did not provide me with the code to get in the front door of the building, only to get in the front door of the room. Thankfully there was someone out front of the house to help me, or I could not have gotten in. Because there was no wifi, I couldn’t use the tv. Overall, there was little to no effort put into the place and it was pretty unusable, even if the host was responsive to messages.

Convenient location
Location and check in worked well. But minimal investment could make this property hugely better. Beds were rock hard. Linens did not appear or smell fresh. No toilet paper holders and strong mildew smell from bathroom sinks. Barest minimum of towels and no hand towels or wash cloths provided. Lacking a dishwasher which we knew but dishes were dirty with crumbs etc on them and there weren’t many— glassware dirty and not many. Garbage in the kitchen trash when we arrived. Toaster was barely put together. Single pan was sticky and dirty. Not one kitchen towel provided. Living room okay with functioning tv but harshest lighting possible. Surrounding properties’ flowers did brighten views.

Worked well for our needs
Convenient location, excellent pre-arrival communication, updated bathrooms with wonderful showers, spacious common area with comfy seating and giant screen TV, easy keyless access, firm but comfortable beds. For our 2 couples staying 4 nights, this unit worked well for our needs. However, there were several minor issues that would easily improve this rental apartment: while all the touch spots were adequately cleaned up by housekeeping crew, it was hard to ignore a heavy layer of renovation dust and/or dried construction mud on trimwork, doors, knobs and overhead fan blades; peeled ceiling, grates and trimwork could use fresh coat of paint; one of the bathroom door needs adjustment so it can close; no bath soap provided; bath mats are nice but so thick that doors can't close over them; make clear that wifi worked only in the TV/common area. The walls are thin so the neighbors' conversations and showers were loud, but otherwise we enjoyed a quiet stay.

The place was very clean and it was in a good neighborhood - very safe. Two different doors to get inside as it’s a shared double unit place. The cons would be the beds were uncomfortable and then the place needs some hand towels in kitchen/baths.

Peaceful neighborhood/Clean rental
Host communication was great! The neighborhood was quiet and the location was accessible to everywhere we went. The rental was clean. Downside was the WiFi was not strong at all so we didn’t use it. Also, the unit was smaller than the pics look. I would also have preferred to have a washer/dryer in unit. Other than that, it was a great stay.

La ubicación del lugar es muy hermoso, muy tranquilo, céntrico de Los Angeles, solo un pequeño detalle que no tiene estacionamiento propio. De 8:00 am a 6:00 pm no pudes estacionarte en esa calle debes pagar un permiso para ello. Eso fue lo que quizas no fue de mi agrado, pero todo bien en los demás.

Great, central location on quiet street
Everything was within a half hours drive including LA traffic so the location was perfect for us. This was a no frills but nice place with easy $5/day parking arranged by the owner ahead of time. Safe neighborhood on a quiet street. Easy check-in/check-out process. Owner was responsive through text.

This is a multi-unit rental property in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Great location close to so many great restaurants and bars. Owner provides a street parking pass for only $5.00 a day, which is so convenient!

Great Location near The Grove
Located in a nice, quiet neighborhood with great Uber coverage. We visited The Grove, Beverly Hills, Hollywood, UCLA and USC. We were never more than 30 minutes from anything, which in LA is miraculous. The host was very accommodating and allowed us to drop our bags off before check-in.

Great for the price
This listing was a lot cheaper than many other listings I found. It is in a very nice neighborhood as well. My complaints would be about the cleanliness. The bedding had subtle stains and hairs. The floor mat in the bathroom needs to be washed or thrown out. You can tell that they did cheap renovations for this listing. The pictures look way nicer than the actual property. It could use new paint on the walls and just a little more decor to appear more modern and not so cold. My official rating is 3.5 stars for cleanliness/appearance and 4 stars overall since the price was good.

Stay was overall okay no issues with host. Although in the listing it didn’t say you have to pay a parking fee it was decently priced. The beds were the worst part of the stay it was just a box spring with a mattress topper. So if you are looking for a cozy bed this isn’t the spot for you.

Great place for family stay
Wonderful place to stay with family. Very close to many places in LA. Property was very clean and the manager was very responsive. Parking was also available at a reasonable price. Only deficiency of this property I felt was that there were not enough cutlery and utensils in kitchen and also not enough bathroom supplies.

Comfortable, quiet, good hosts
Comfortable apartment in quiet neighborhood, well-located and very useful if you have business off Wiltshire Blvd (consulates etc). Friendly and communicative hosts who helped out with street parking. Effective air conditioning during a hot summer. Easy keypad entry. Maybe add a kettle to the kitchen for easier tea making. Hope to come stay again, thank you!
