I could not last 2 hours we left and luckily found a hotel nearby. Terrible service location was good host was slightly rude and apt was way worse. No air!! Yes you heard me right NO AIR with or without open windows! My son was sick right before we left and i blame the heat and humidity. Don't do it i warned you!

Relaxing Weekend
My family and I stayed for a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The outdoor space is super relaxing and you can't beat the location. Alicia was a great communicator and super welcoming. Hope to stay again sometime!

Amazing property and location
We stayed for 5 nights and had a wonderful experience! Unbelievable location. Easy walk to the beach and restaurants on Montana Ave. The property's outdoor space was better than expected. We spent a ton of time out there. Will definitely stay there next time we're back in town.

Review of the property and owner
The host was a bit invasive. The listing said it was an entire place but it’s actually a duplex with the host staying right upstairs. The outside sauna was apparently off limits due to “covid,” however, there was no signage, house rules posted, nor listing describing these rules. She would also constantly text wondering if we messed with the internet and to shut the windows. The property was beautiful, but there was ants running rampant everywhere.

Wonderful Getaway for USC Graduation
We wanted a property that was away from downtown LA with access to the beach and walkable for morning coffee. This was a wonderful getaway. The property is cute and the beds are comfy. We had 2 adults and 2 teenage kids and had plenty of room. We shared a bath/shower which was not a big deal for a family. The outdoor area is what really sold us on this property. We could lounge around outside and enjoy the weather. Alicia was great to communicate with (once she started receiving our messages--there was a glitch and she was not seeing our communications prior to arrival). She was very gracious. We highly recommend this property.

Highly recommend!
Stayed for a long weekend with three friends and we absolutely loved staying here! The location is walkable to shops and cafes, with the beach close by as well. Alícia was super responsive and flexible in our communication leading up to and during our stay. We also thought the rental was much more spacious than anticipated, which was a nice surprise. Would definitely recommend to a friend!

Great stay!
We loved our mini-vacation at this property. The location is great: close to the beach and restaurants. Our kids loved playing at the big yard and the patio area is just beautiful. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. We would sure rent it again!

Sweet home, great location!
Alicia's home was perfect for my family's short stay in Santa Monica! The house is sweet with a gorgeous outdoor space, perfect for entertaining kids for awhile. And the location was perfect. Within blocks to everything we needed for our stay! Thanks Alicia!

Could not have been better!
Everything about our stay was picture perfect. Alicia was a wonderful host. The house is located in a Santa Monica neighborhood that we know well and is one of our favorite places anywhere. Restaurants, coffeeshops, movies are all easy walking distance and we walked miles in a beautiful residential neighborhood. If it is available, we will return regularly, likely bring our family and recommend it to our friends. We cannot say enough good things about our stay and this offering. Jeff

Perfect place to stay

Fantastic friends/family spot with plenty of room, close to the ocean
The location was perfect. The house is one short block from Ocean Avenue & Palisades Park, perfect for morning and evening strolls. The beach below is access by passageways a few blocks south, and from there we would jump in the ocean or walk north to Annenberg Pool Club. Restaurants are nearby on Montana Ave, or a few blocks further on Santa Monica Blvd. There is always parking in back of the house or on the street. The house itself is spacious with 2 bedrooms, a den, 1 bathroom and a very large dining/living room area adjacent to a small kitchen. But you’re not staying here to be cooped inside - you want to use the amazing patio out back where there are chairs and sofas surrounding a large table and additional seats all around. There is a grill and a fireplace, both available for use. In addition, a large teepee (!) was installed shortly before our arrival, complete with a custom mattress inside. We slept there many of our 9 nights, since Santa Monica is so quiet (the only sounds were literally crickets and an occasional passing plane). As beautiful as Santa Monica is, the patio and yard matched it, and we spent nearly all our nights grilling and relaxing out back. It was amazing. The yard is large enough for kids to run around in, though playing a game of soccer would be challenging (best to take it to the beach). There is a volleyball net. The owner, Alicia, is great, reachable at all times with questions, and very casual and hip. She seemed to work effortlessly to make our stay even better. Thank you Alicia! Great for families, great for friends. I will be returning to Santa Monica, and if this place is available, I won’t even look for anything else.

Worst rental ever
The owner, took more money off my visa then entitled too. She has ignored my e-mail requests for a refund. Accommodations were worse than expected. Booked for 7 nights and left to go to a hotel after 1 night. Owner couldn’t confirm if the water was drinkable. House felt dirty and dishwasher was full of dirty dishes, cups, mugs when we arrived. Couldn’t control the heat in bedroom and owner provided no instructions for anything. Never felt so unwelcome anywhere as we did at this house (owner lives upstairs). Good location. Bad owner.
