„The house was very comfortable for the 5 of us and a dog. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, 2 types of coffee makers etc. my grown kids enjoyed the hot tub. The views from the backyard were beautiful!“

We were early to arrive, but the hosts who had just finished tidying up were on site and welcome us to an early entry, which we were very happy to take advantage of. „We chose this site as it is close to where we were working. However, the sunrises and sunsets at this location and in a beautiful room full of windows were gorgeous!! It would be a neat place to stay for a relaxing vacation. The kitchen is also nice and all utensils we needed were there to prepare individual meals or shared meals for the four of us!!“

„This is a lovely, modern house with cathedral ceilings and interesting concrete details. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and walked around the grounds and coastline, even though it was mud season (thawing of the ground in March).I believe the pictures are of the chalet next door (Oyster Chalet #2), which is the same construction but has a fence around the deck because it is higher up. „The John Burck Historical House was a GREAT place to stay with our family. The house has been beautifully renovated to look how it did in the 1930s. Even the appliances which were new looked like they were from the 1930s. The host was amazing and when we arrived, met us at the house and shared its history with us.
