Female SOLO traveller alert!! I did not stay here even one night out of the five due to the owner offering me and upgraded room if ‘he could share it’ with me ore itll cost double my current room. Also harrsssed me, blocking my door of being closed as he wanted to ‘keep me company’ which i had declined 15/20 times already. He also made a point of saying the hotel was empty so noone would know if he entered my room!! This creeped me out the most as he was right. All other rooms were empty. After i manage to get the door shut he starts pacing up n down outside my room (in this time i contact my friends who say they will return to get me). He then comes n starts banging on my door again calling through the door, when i get mad n open it he says ‘ don’t you tell anyone what i said!’ I insisted that he didnt want people told as he KNEW it was bad and told him id tell anyone that listened. He then continued to offer me an upgraded room as an appolybut again only if he could share it as ‘a dohble bed is a waste for one girl alone so we make the most of it’. Vile vile man! The manager was really concerned until he realised it was his brother than protected him. Luckily for me a i knew people in the area that collected me and demanded a refund! I was shaking and worried when they arrived so i fear that if any other lone females go that theh would not have back up! Please avoid!
Also when they say ‘air con’ they mean fan strapped to the wall.
