„This is a place you need to bring your own bedding (which we had) and towels (which we forgot :-) ) It was good value for money. We did not have internet. I am not sure if that could have been arranged. We stayed as a couple with my brother but we think it might be also a really nice place for a family. It is easy walking to the town center. We would come again.“

„Our stay at the Mackenzie Suites was very nice. Our host was amazing, very freindly. Even as we had the smalles apartment (as she apologized for) it was really comfy and spacious. It was very clean with a good view of Lake Tekapo. The suites are a litle outside. If you don´t want to use the car it will be 15-20 minutes by foot until you reach the centre.“

„Great property! Comfortable and great location. Some issues with the check in process as the booking was not the same on my VRBO as theirs so I would recommend reaching out the night before or the morning of check in. Also no check out instructions so hopefully I followed the rules:))“

„We absolutely loved staying here, the property was beautiful and had everything we needed. It wasn't far off the beaten track and the host was helpful with us. Bed was super comfy, the place in general was really comfortable for us to stay in, and we had a memorable christmas here. Highly recommend!“

„I actually loved this space. It was clean, comfy, air conditioned. Everything worked properly. Free laundry and a grill. Netflix. The shower pressure was top notch. It's a little new-build off the main house but still completely private with its own driveway. Everything is a 5-minute walk. I was very happy with it. The only downside potentially is light coming through the sky-lights in the morning.“

„We really don’t understand the negative feedback here. It is very central, has beautiful lake view and even though we had our room right next to the communal area with Billard pool table, it was quite and we slept very well. The staff is very friendly too and there is a huge kitchen with many cook tops and oven for the guests to prepare meals. :-)“

"Wirklich super ist die Lage des Motels, alles ist schnell erreichbar. Ausstattung ist schon älter, zweckmäßig. Was fehlt, ist eine Verdunkelungsmöglichkeit der Eingangstür. Große Teller gab es nicht, nur Untertassen. Das angebotene und auch gebuchte Frühstück in einem nahen Café ist neuseelandtypisch, aber nicht besonders reizvoll mit labbrigem Toast."
