Want a relaxing vacation on a spectacular Southern Minnesota Lake? The Bell House on Madison Lake is the place for you! We know that a large lake place is hard to come by, that's why we are excited to share ours with you!

Located on the north side of Madison Lake, in Town Bay, this charming custom built home is extremely spacious 6 Bedroom 5 Bathroom with 4,000+ square feet of living space. There is a quiet frontage road to cross and 30 steps (with a handrail on both sides) that lead to 80 feet of private shoreline with a dock and fire pit! A dock is available for use of your own watercraft on one side, as the owners keep their personal boat on the other side of it. Kids can enjoy wading in the water near shore or swimming at the end of the dock. Located in walking distance to restaurants, a bait and tackle shop, liquor store, and two convenience stores. The layout of the home allows everyone to stay connected while simultaneously giving you just enough space to yourself so that you can relax!

Madison Lake itself has much to offer - 1447 acres of beautiful water, sandy lake bottom and great bays for water skiing, wakeboarding, tubing and all other water sports. There is a maximum depth of 60’. The lake has great fishing (panfish and sport fish - including walleye). Lake enthusiasts can enjoy a restaurant that you can reach by boat, with a gas pump for fueling up on the lake!

A large front porch greets you as you walk up to the home, opening to a grand entryway with an open staircase. The spacious living room offers great flexibility in layout and use (including a mini fridge and wet bar), leading to the only main level bedroom that is furnished with a queen size bed and 50” smart tv that is bluetooth compatible. The kitchen is huge and offers well stocked cupboards, a coffee bar, informal dining room, and a panoramic view of Madison Lake. Other features of the main level- a large formal dining room, main level laundry, one full bath, one 3/4 bath, and a three season porch on the back side of the house.

Upstairs you will find 4 spacious bedrooms and two full baths-
Bedroom 2: The family suite that overlooks the lake, offers a cozy gas fireplace, luxury king size bed, queen pullout sofa sleeper, 50” smart tv that is bluetooth compatible, and connects to bedroom three.
Bedroom 3: Twin over queen bunk bed, 50” smart tv that is bluetooth compatible. Both the family suite & bedroom three share the master bathroom.
Bedroom 4: Two twin over twin bunk beds.
Bedroom 5: The master suite offers a stunning view of the lake, a luxury king size bed, and a 50” smart tv that is bluetooth compatible.

Downstairs boasts a large family room with a 70” smart tv that is bluetooth compatible, heated and massage couches, a children’s playroom, and a full bath. Downstairs, you will find bedroom 6 that has a full size bed, and a 50” smart tv that is bluetooth compatible.

We have an ADT full security system with keyless entry. Upon entering the house, visitors will notice numerous ‘smart home’ features throughout! Smart TV’s, an Alexa platform, heated toilets with nightlights, bluetooth compatible fans and LED faucets in all bathrooms, smart outlets with USB charging ports, built in LED nightlights, voice enabled smart kitchen faucet.

Excellent hosts!
Our hosts went above and beyond. They were very easy to work with and responded to questions very quickly. They even stored an extra tray of wedding cupcakes in an off-site fridge for us! The house is amazing and all of us kept saying how lucky we were to stay there. Truly an incredibly wonderful stay for four generations.

Perfect fit for our family
The property was very clean and spacious. The owner was responsive to any questions. We had a light snowfall and the driveway was cleared timely. The location was great for us and we found fun family activities nearby. Took the littles to the Goofy Goat farm to see and feed the goats and also went to indoor open skating one afternoon. We were very comfortable at the house and spent most of our time there. Thank you!

The perfect place
Not only is this home beautiful, but it was well appointed, perfect for a large group, and comfortable. The hosts were very responsive when we had a few questions. We loved watching the sunsets, going for walks, and large tables to play games on, and all eat together.

Our stay at the Bell House was wonderful. There were 14 of us there for my dad's Celebration of Life. The house is great with plenty of room for everyone to do what they wanted. There are several cool high tech features. The owners were very responsive to texts. We would love to stay there again.

Fantastic place for our family vacation
Kody and Heather were great hosts. They met us on our first day and personally walked us though the property and showed us where everything we would need was. They live close by and were very accommodating. Madison Lake is a very cute town with a few convient stores and shops within walking distances. Mankato is a short 15 min drive away to grab supplies. The lake was great for tubing and sking. The lake toys provided were great to have for those who wanted to enjoy the water acces right off the property and its dock. Our family of 15 had a great time at the Bell House. Next-door neighbors were very nice and made us feel welcomed. We would definitely come back again. Thank you, Kody and Heather. Renting this house was perfect. We were in the area for a funeral. We needed a place for 12 of us to stay that didn't feel like we were crowded and this was it! There were 6 adults and 6 children ages 9-18. We all had a bed to sleep in and space. In addition to have additional family come and hang out for the day. It turned a sad trip into an enjoyable one. We also decided to brave the elements and go sledding down my the church. It was definitely a 5 star stay.

Relaxing Family Getaway
The Bell House was perfect for our family of 9 (+5 kids) with lots of room to spare! The property managers were very attentive and went above and beyond to make sure that we were satisfied during our stay. The house itself is spacious with many common areas large enough for everyone to sit together. So many amenities were offered in this house, which made packing much easier for our large group! The beds were super comfortable and the house itself was very clean and organized. The older kids loved the downstairs hangout space and the littles loved looking out the window at all of the ice houses on the lake! Overall, such a cozy place that provided us the relaxing family getaway we needed. I would definitely recommend to anyone!

Best VRBO stay so far!!
Check in process was a breeze. Owners are incredibly accommodating and nearby if you need anything. We loved the location! Perfect spot for a group of snowmobilers with easy access to gas/trails/liquor store/ parking. Great view of the lake! This would be the perfect spot for a summer retreat right on Madison Lake. The house is well stocked with great amenities. The hosts really went the extra mile with thinking through the details and having extra bedding, various types of pillows, smart home amenities like: Alexa, heated massage couches, even heated toilet seats! The place is huge and caters well to families with children of all ages with toys, games, pack and play, high chairs, etc. It's truly a great value in my opinion and we will definitely be back!!

Christmas get away at the Bell House on Madison Lake, MN
We stayed at the Bell House over Christmas weekend 2022. We had 12 people that stayed throughout the weekend, ages ranging from 7 to 71. There was plenty of space for all of us. The home was very clean and nicely laid out. The property owners were great with communication at this property. We traveled there during a blizzard warning and they were very responsive with any questions we had. They also made sure the driveway was plowed and the home was toasty warm when we arrived. We were really hoping to be able to do some ice fishing, but the weather didn't cooperate for us to do that. They are right by the lake and there are other lakes that are just a short drive as well. They are located in a convenient area as well, with restaurants and convenience stores close by. Overall, we really enjoyed staying here for our Christmas away from home. They even went the extra mile to have a Christmas tree up and decorated for the Christmas holiday weekend. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone!
