Apartment is located near Gran Via, and a short walk from a supermarket, bars and restaurants.
Relatively clean, but bathroom extremely dated and shabby.
Lady at check in didn’t know how to access the pool, and there was no concierge on reception when I went in or out, so no one to ask. The door accessing the back of the property was always locked.
I booked this apartment for the pool - so not gaining access ruined it.
Additional cleaning fee of €49 should be factored into the initial costs, as it’s not optional.
No use of pool, garden, and no luggage store, so have no option but to pay additional €30 early check in fee if arriving slightly before 4pm.
€150 deposit withheld for over a week after my stay.
I reported a damage at the property on check in, and the owner has deducted money from my deposit despite them acknowledging the report on check in. They have refused to refund the full deposit held, and Expedia can’t assist in recovering this.
The additional costs and charging me for damage I didn’t cause ruined the experience for me.
