The idea of renting a room on a boat from 8pm till 10am... sounded crazy, but exciting.
Communications from the owner were superb. The series of videos she sent made the check in process simple.
Space on board is tight, but that's to be expected. It's not a cruise liner, it's a small boat.
I slept well. The facilities at the harbour are easy to use. They have a quality camp-site feel to them and only a minute walk away from the boat. Talking of convenience. It's half a mile walk to the centre, all up hill (you'll have legs like Linford Christie after a couple of days). Conveniences are within easy access.
One of the highlights of my trip was eating breakfast on board while watching the sun rise over the harbor.
