„Lovely spot surrounded by nature. What we found strange was that according to hotels.com the booked room was INCLUDING breakfast. However upon arrival we where informed that the breakfast would be 2 x 20 AUD extra, as the breakfast was not mentioned on the booking. I checked on my own receipt from hotels.com and also didn't see breakfast on it. Not a big problem for us, we just drove into the next Cafe in the morning as we aren't huge breakfast eaters anyway. „The property has lots of character and history. It's located in the quaint village of Morpeth, only 10 minutes from Matiland. We had no hot water on the first morning which was due to it all being used by other guests. We were reassured this hadn't happened before but that didn't really help on a winter morning. „The positive first: A very nice and helpful lady is the keeper of the place. Unfortunately the negative is heavy. Everything is very old, the room is small, the mattress is terrible, the tiny bathroom is smelly and a major noisy road passes 100 meters away. The breakfast is not on site but in a coffee shop on the other side of the busy road.
