„We stayed for two nights at Ann's High Desert Hideaway. We wanted to explore the surrounding area, as part of a road trip through Washington, Idaho and Eastern Oregon. It was so peaceful there. Waking up to listen to all the new birds (for me) and watch the cottontails hopping about. The cabin was clean and had thoughtful amenities for guests. The washer and dryer was much appreciated after 8 days on the road. And there was ice in the freezer!! Hard to believe that almost no vacation rentals ...

„The space exceeded the listing description! It was on a beautiful, quiet property. Lots to do nearby or a great landing spot for John Day/Fossil Bed excursions. W e all felt relaxed from the moment we stepped foot on the property. It is clean, quiet, secluded and thoughtfully managed. We also appreciated the guestbook where we got a lot of great recommendations from past visitors. “

„We were looking for a vacation rental that was fairly close to the mountains NE of Prairie City and 3 popped up. This one was perfect! We had family elk hunting and camping up in the mountains but felt like we needed to stay in town due to having a 3 month old baby. The beds were comfortable, wi-fi worked great and the house is fully equipped with everything one would need. And I mean that! Look for another motel, trust me

"There was no one at the reception (at 3pm). In the room the showerhead was leaking, resulting in a waterdrop sound the whole night. The worst was that the receptionist, who evetually showed up, was aware of this problem at checkin as he informed me about this. I mean come on, of you know of the problem, get some to fix it."
