Der letzte Schliff ist abgeschlossen. Updates umfassen neue benutzerdefinierte Küche mit Beton Theken und Küchengeräten aus Edelstahl, neues Badezimmer mit begehbarer Dusche und rund um allgemeine Updates. Gemütliches Haus mit 2 Schlafzimmern befindet sich direkt am Kokosing-Fluss, von den Algonkin-Indianern übersetzt und bedeutet "Fluss der kleinen Eulen". Die Kabine ist eine kurze Entfernung zum Kenyon College, Apple Valley See, Ohio Amish Land und Tonnen und Tonnen großer Parks, Wanderwege, Radwege und Jagd. Große Fischerei vor den Banken im Hinterhof. Zahlreiche verschiedene Tierarten, darunter Adler, Falken, Nerze und Hirsche. Kajaks und Kanus stehen zur Verfügung. Große Terrasse mit Blick auf den Fluss, Außendusche und Badewanne (einsatzbereit, wenn das Wetter mitspielt). WiFi und Internet-TV auf 42 "Flachbildschirm. Amazing weekend getaway!
We had an amazing stay, even though it raines for majority of our trio we made the best of it. We fished in the river and hubby caught 2 catfish. We went and visited the Amish country and local eataries very cool places

Great Property, near road
The property is really nice, great porch. The house is very close to route 36 so it can be quite loud on the porch with semis and farm equipment passing by. Political candidate signs stuck up at the entrance is also not a very welcoming start or a good look for a rental property. Otherwise, very clean and comfortable.

The Hidden Gem In Howard Ohio!
Our stay was from 09/07/24 to 09/10/24 This was a wonderful place to to get away from the stress of everyday life and enjoy some privacy and nature. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay and then some. My wife and I like to leave anywhere we stay as we found it , and everything was there and available to allow us to clean things as we went. We really enjoyed the swing by the river, and the fishing was excellent. Didn't get to try the kayaks due to it being a chillier than expected stay. But the hot tub and the fire pit, and the supplied board games filled our time. Great cabin, perfect setting and plenty to do. Just wanted to give a big "Thank You!" to Al and Sue for putting the time, money and effort into creating a space that allows people like us to reconnect with each other and enjoy nature. It was an excellent place for us to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. Thanks again, and we cant wait to return. Dave and Kim K.

We came to Ohio at the request of our son who chose that as his vacation spot. We really enjoyed the beauty of the state. The cabin was perfect. It had everything we needed and was exceptionally neat and clean. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit and the kayaks. We found many things to do in the area and the weather was perfect. Our vacation
We had a great stay and enjoyed our time. Everything we could've needed was already there even down to Scotch tape! We felt very at home as it was so welcoming and very charming. Thanks for being such great Hosts. The welcoming gifts of wine and bread were thoughtful and appreciated. Theres so much to do and not enough time to enjoy it all. Definitely would stay again and recommend to others. A real gem!

The only thing which made us unhappy is the pictures of the water. Not current. We were prepared to fish but the area had overgrowth making casting and bringing in a if we caught one impossible.

perfect spot!
we had such a great time kayaking, hot tubbing and biking on the nearby kokosing gap trail. the cabin was exactly as described, well-stocked and comfy! communication with the property owner was quick and seamless. we would recommend this place to anyone with a small group and we hope to stay again ourselves someday!

This is the review you're looking for
The owners really went out of their way to think of the little things. They had relaxing music playing as we entered, firewood was layed out for us and all the little amenities provided so we needed minimal stuff from home. It was nice and clean and the property itself was amazing. We visited in March it was super cold and the heat wouldn't get up past 68 degrees inside the cottage which led to extra cooking and snuggling to help keep warm. We woke up every morning to 66 degrees inside. It's not quiet and is off a busy highway but those are the only downsides. I can imagine how beautiful this place would be in the spring/summer where you could really use the property for all that it has to offer. It's close to town but far enough away to feel like you're really in the middle of nowhere. No close neighbors and coming from the city we liked that very much. We do plan to return and we would recommend this when looking to stay in the area.

They've redeemed private rentals for me
I've had a few bad rentals in my past so I've been leery to rent something like this again. But I wanted a lake/river side cabin type rental for a few days in the middle of nowhere to take my dogs and found this place. First, they allow any size dogs, which is great because so many places limit 25 or 50lbs and less, which I don't have. Having a 110lb dog that looks like a black bear severely limits my rental options. And their pet fees are very reasonable. Checkin/out is simple enough. But right on arrival, before even going inside, there is evidence they are good hosts. There are 2 fire pits and they have firewood available, which they have chopped and all lined up and set out in separate piles for easy grabbing. Despite being surrounded by trees, the yard had been cleared of leaves. and Upon going inside, the place was immaculately clean, beds made. The place was gorgeous and even had ambient music playing. I had brought 2 dogs and they even had left 2 treats specifically for them, which was absolutely amazing. The rules are not overbearing, just basic ones about towels and such that are more than understandable. The place has clearly been well thought out and set up for many different types of people in mind. My dogs loved being able to roam freely on the completely enclosed porch, as well as having a large yard to play in. I don't rent cabins or anything often but they definitely made me want to rent from them again in one of the warmer months.
