My partner and I really enjoyed our stay here. Everything was in good shape, and the king beds in both rooms were great. (Ami assured us that the remarks about one of the beds in an earlier review were addressed.) We slept very comfortably there.
The neighborhood is clean and quiet, there's a grocery store and a number of dining options right in Manteno, and many more if you want to travel 10 minutes south. Having an enclosed garage was a nice plus.
There's a TV in every room, comfortable furniture, just a nice setting all around. And Ami was super helpful and quick to respond to a couple of perhaps unusual requests (such as needing a shower chair).
There are two things I think a potential guest should be aware of: The water pressure was not strong (better in the second bathroom due to the type of shower head).
And the trains. The tracks are out of sight but not that far off. There is tree coverage between them and the house, but I imagine the sound buffering is better in the summer than the winter/early spring. That said, while we noticed a couple of long, loud trains the first night, we grew accustomed to the sound after that and largely enjoyed hearing the occasional train roll by, day or night.
