Sarnia cottage offers spacious accommodation with open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, a cosy wood burning stove and a bright sun lounge. New heating system was installed in 2020 and is operated via an app. The bathroom was newly fitted in 2019 with a stylish, modern shower.
The well equipped kitchen includes dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, toaster and fridge/freezer.
The patio for barbecues is a lovely sun trap.
There is a smart TV, unlimited wifi and a landline which can receive incoming calls. During the winter of 2023 we have resanded the living room and dining room and sanded the 2 main bedrooms. There is a new carpet on the stairs, landing and small bedroom. It has been redecorated throughout.
Upstairs
There are two double bedrooms and a third bedroom with bunks.
The front bedroom has two 2"6 singles which can be a king size double if attached. The second bedroom has a regular double bed. This bedroom leads out onto the balcony which has beautiful sea views and is perfect for an evening drink.
Upstairs there is another toilet and washbasin.
The area: Marazion has a sailing club and windsurfing school. You can also hire paddleboards and windsurfers from the beach. Close by are the lovely towns of St. Ives, (the home of The Tate and many other Art galleries), and Penzance and there are amazing beaches around the Minack Theatre, Porthcurno and Sennen. Marazion is on the South West coast path, and there are stunning walks to be found nearby and around the Lizard and Lands End peninsulars. Penzance has an art deco swimming pool (sea water) and in the town there tare several Art galleries and two lovely parks.
Just outside the town are Tesco, Sainsbury's and Morrisons supermarkets.
In Marazion there are 4 pubs and several restaurants.
The newly re furbished Godolphin has wonderful sea views, bar, and serves good meals.
The Fire Engine at the top of the town has recently been taken over by a well known chef.
***MAY PARK OUTSIDE ONLY WHEN UNLOADING THE CAR. THERE IS NO DEDICATED PARKING AT THE PROPERTY.
After unloading outside cottage or in North Street, the public car park is 200m away. Cost is £50 a week or book a parking in someone's drive using the app 'Just Park'.
