„This place was very peaceful and quiet! We fished off the private pier and hung out in the backyard! They have a very nice kudu BBQ pit that we utilized, and I loved that the yard was fenced for the safety of the kids! The Joneses were very quick in their responses and very nice. Overall, we had a wonderful time there and will be returning!“

„You will love this little cabin. Despite its size it is well appointed and adorable. It has a great little kitchen. Its location is close to New Boston. Close to Lake Wright Patman for outdoor enjoyment. Close to a really nice little Brookshires. If you enjoy cooking and staying in for meals. “

We were met upon arrival and given a tour of the property and shown how to use some of the things on site. There are a lot of original things to the period it was built, and the images on the listing show off some of the highlights of the property. „It was probably the best cabin stay I ever had. I am doing cabin vacations since many years. The owner family really took care of in a very natural and warm way. The cabin was very clean and directly facing the lake. And they gave me a few of their own farmland chicken eggs. I had five wonderful days!“

„If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you. It reminded me of going to my grandmother's house in South Alabama as a kid. We had everything we needed for a base camp on our hunt, and you can enjoy the multitudes of wildlife to view around the property. The house was well appointed and maintained. “

„This is very unique property. The pictures seem like you are camping alone, but they are all together in a compound. We stayed in the Safari tent and LOVED IT! The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable of their family land. We want to come back and spend more time and cook in the community kitchen. Very peaceful & a great place for friends and family to camp together but also have their own space. Highly recommend! Thank you for a great night Will & Austyn.“

„It was gorgeous and very calming endless outdoor adventure. My only setback was this was the first experience with solar power and it would have been helpful to have a welcome book with instructions on how to unplug the outside lights when not in use as well as a guideline on the power and how to prevent overuse and what to do when if it runs out. Outside of this I highly recommend this oasis to disconnect from technology a bit and really enjoy time with your family and embrace the gorgeous ...
