„We were coming to town and wanted a nice place to stay and also enjoy Christmas with our local family. We had such a great time this holiday with our family, having a great meal, playing games and just laughing and enjoying each other There was plenty of space for our family to enjoy Christmas. The home is so cozy and we had everything we needed. We cannot wait to come back and enjoy the lake this summer. A“

„Loved our stay here. The lake was wonderful and the kids really enjoyed the canoes. The inside was comfy and well-stocked.“

„This place was very peaceful and quiet! We fished off the private pier and hung out in the backyard! They have a very nice kudu BBQ pit that we utilized, and I loved that the yard was fenced for the safety of the kids! The Joneses were very quick in their responses and very nice. Overall, we had a wonderful time there and will be returning!“

„It was a very well decorated cabin. Even had a lighted Christmas tree inside when we walked in. Cleaning needs to be addressed if they want a higher rating. Very dusty everywhere. Bedroom floor had to be swept. Bedroom sheets were brown & hair on them. Had to ask for more wash cloths as we only had 4 for two adults for a 5 might stay. The road at night is dark so be sure to use your speedometer to know where to turn. Other than that accommodations were cozy & co“

„Everything was perfect! Out in the country with beautiful scenery! Curtis the host was extremely helpful! The house was furnished with everything that you would need for a 5 night stay. If you are are looking for a super clean, comfortable place in East Texas, this is it!“

„We stayed at the property over Easter weekend with family. There were four adults and two teens, and more than enough room for all of us. We were met upon arrival and given a tour of the property and shown how to use some of the things on site. There are a lot of original things to the period it was built, and the images on the listing show off some of the highlights of the property. We enjoyed exploring, playing hide and seek, and relaxing with the family. There were a couple of negatives, but ...

„We enjoyed our time at the lake house for a long weekend. The lake and the pool were fun to play in and the house has beautiful decor and thoughtful touches. Fully stocked kitchen. Plenty of room to hangout and play and relax. The view is gorgeous! “

My only setback was this was the first experience with solar power and it would have been helpful to have a welcome book with instructions on how to unplug the outside lights when not in use as well as a guideline on the power and how to prevent overuse and what to do when if it runs out. „If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you. It reminded me of going to my grandmother's house in South Alabama as a kid. We had everything we needed for a base camp on our hunt, and you can enjoy the multitudes of wildlife to view around the property. The house was well appointed and maintained. “

"What a nice hotel from the outside. Ok the lobby was really nice and beautiful remodeled. But please repair the door locks. We walked three times to the desk to reboot the key. The breakfast fast wasnt worth a word. Nothing was there. No juices no coffee two slices of bread. One muffin. Orange juice themes molded inside. That is not a hot rich breakfast as written on the note in the rooms. Sorry no 10 in our eyes. It looks like "run this 5 years to get the US passport" Never again."
