Expedia did not get confirmation right.
Had big issues with Expedia confirming my reservation and it was quite late for me without a lot of sleep prior and as I had to get up at 2am I just wanted to SLEEP. After an hour on hold w/Expedia 3 times, nothing was resolved. The staff gave me a room anyway and said they would take care of the issue in the morning. When I left the hotel at two and returned at 4:30 I was told again the reservation was not confirmed yet. I didn't care at that point. I blame Expedia for the lack of confirmation and my room not being ready for me at 9pm! I even called the hotel immediately after booking thru app to inform them of late check in. Expedia sent me confirma-tion of the their confirmation and even called me after the hotel already gave me a room to confirm they had sent the conformation and the room was available. What a joke. It was not there and instead of calling him a liar or telling him what the staff did for me, I just thanked him and hung up. Its happened before and usually gets resolved quickly but this one time when I really really needed every hour of sleep available, Expedia failed.
While the staff did take pity on me, the demeanor was one of annoyance. That may be because the attendant on duty was severely incompetent and his English was so garbled and accent so strong none in line understood him much at all. He had to rouse the woman from her room in the hotel to take over for him.
The hotel was clean and nice but bed uncomfortable after driving all day.
