BARK PARK IS DONE & READY FOR YOUR FUR BABIES!! If you want to sit and relax under the trees, enjoy a fire and have your pets off leash, you can!!!!! 4 chairs with firepit in a beautifully fenced bark park!

Welcome to the Cowboy Cabin! A beautiful, rustic cabin atop its very own hill surrounded by trees. Our Cowboy Cabin is a great space, with a main living area & a loft, accommodating up to 4 people (or +2 if you don't mind roll away beds). The main living area is encompassed by a high loft ceiling, accommodating sleeping, seating & dining! Additional space offered in the loft with 2 twin beds. It is fully furnished with a microwave, mini fridge, ice maker, coffee maker, shower, jacuzzi tub, & we even provide soft drinks, coffee, & snacks!

The Cowboy Cabin has been recently renovated & looks beautiful, so much more than a rustic cabin! You will enjoy the space, peace & quiet, as well as the modern amenities such as a jetted jacuzzi tub, wireless internet & TV! We also have 5 acres of hiking trails for you to enjoy!

Excellent host
While we didn’t get to stay because our dog passed away while we were there, I can’t say enough nice things about the owners! They were comforting, helpful and understanding. They helped us find a 24 vet hospital to take our poor pup too and she even called ahead and told them we were coming! The place was peaceful and serene and I’m just sorry we couldn’t stay.

Peaceful getaway
Thank you, Tim and Cristina for allowing us to stay in your Cowboy Cabin on Oct 28-30. We loved everything about the accommodations but particularly enjoyed listening to the trees sway in the wind while on the deck and porch. It was so nice having our Maizy doodle with us and she thoroughly enjoyed running through the woods to get to the bark park. The wood burning fireplace and hot tub were icing on the cake. It was just cool enough for us to enjoy both and sure appreciated the wood supply. We ventured out and about to the cute little towns of Dutzow and Marthasville and enjoyed another tour of the Daniel Boone Home as well. Our two day stay was just what we needed to get some much needed rest and relaxation. Next time we plan to stay in the cute little cottage that’s on the property as well. Thank you again for everything; there isn’t a thing you haven’t thought about to make your guests’ stay a pleasurable one.

We had a wonderful stay at the cowboy cabin. The cabin had all we needed and we were provided with a detailed manual which was well prepared to answer any question we had, the host made it feel very welcoming by being so receptive if we needed to contact them for any reason. This was truly a great little getaway for my husband and I. We would highly recommend a stay here for a single person, couple or family.

Getaway Labor Day weekend
We stayed two nights and the cabin was great. We knew there wasn't a kitchen,so brought a cooler with food to make on the charcoal grill. Everything we needed to cook outside was provided for. Inside there is a hot plate and pots and pans. Microwave and toaster. The mini fridge held some of out food and the rest stayed cold in our cooler. The deck with chairs, table and a gas fire pit was nice to sit around when it cooled off at night. The cabin was15 minutes from a couple of Katy Trail trailheads. We biked two days and it was very conveinient and close. We climbed the ladder to the loft just to check it out. It would be great for a family with a couple of kids. Low ceiling would make it difficult for some adults. We loved the place and will come here again.

We liked the place and enjoyed the deck. Wish we could of got the firepit going. I didn't realize it was a ladder to the loft (extra beds) instead of stairs. Was not feasible for senior citizen women. The rollaway on the lower level was not very comfortable. I also didn't realize it was only a mini fridge and no stove. My error, need to check more closely when booking. We did enjoy our stay and got to visit 9 wineries and some beautiful scenery. I would definitely recommend this place to stay.

Perfect Peaceful Getaway
Absolute relaxing perfection. Very secluded but within a quick trip back to civilization. The ONLY thing that took away from the trip was no cell service or internet but being from a place where that can still happen we understood and a quick trip to Walmart for a DVD Player remedied the problem. The accommodations were very cute and cozy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would most definitely consider visiting again and bringing our Shihtzu as he enjoyed our stay as much as we did.

Wonderful Place
Cowboy Cabin was perfect! I was traveling with my dog, attending events at Purina Farms in Grey Summit. 30 minute, hassle-free drive. Met Tim when I was arriving. Met Christina the next day. Our dogs fell in love and romped and played together. It was absolutely wonderful! The cabin is spotless and welcoming. Enjoyed the fireplace on chilly nights.

Little slice of heaven
Our stay at the cabin was far beyond perfect! Wednesday and Thursday the cabin was cozy during the cold winter nights, we had picturesque views from the windows for the snow. Friday and Saturday when we had spring weather the outdoor space was amazing! We enjoyed grilling, the gas fire pit and walking the trails. Dutlow offered some nostalgia as we enjoyed breakfast at the resturant and antique shopping. Our time spend was the perfect recipe for rest, relaxation and reconnection. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

Exactly as described
Great place to stay and relax. Very peaceful and was exactly as described. Snacks, drinks and a bottle of wine was awaiting us. We forgot a few things but to our surprise they had them in the room. I would recommend bringing a cooler with ice since the fridge is small. There is an ice machine but only makes a little bit of ice at a time so we just used that for drinks. Found a great little pizza place in Marthasville that is about 10 minutes away. Had good pizza, meatball sandwiches and Philly Cheesteaks. Can't remember the name of it but there is a menu in the room. Looking forward to staying again when the weather warms up and hitting the wineries. Thank you for all you did to make our weekend getaway amazing!

This is a great cabin and a wonderful host. Christina was very sweet to my wife and I and is very hospitable. You can tell that they thought of little extras to help their guests have a good stay. We got to meet their sweet dog as a bonus. The cabin is just right for a getaway.

The hosts could not have been more accommodating and welcoming!! They respected our privacy and replied to text quickly. They made us feel right at home without intruding in the slightest bit. Overall it was pretty much as advertised. We were disappointed that there was no regular coffee. Didn’t realize until right before we left that there is no stove and oven, but that was our own fault. Kind of rocky steps to get to front door. They would be scary if it hac snowed. Clean. Friendly, and responsive owners.

Amazing little cabin in the woods
My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend. The property was beautiful and very relaxing. We enjoyed hiking and playing with the owners dogs. It is very quiet and secluded, but a short drive to all of the wineries and attractions of the area. We are already trying to plan a return stay.

Fantastic weekend getaway
Stayed here with my boyfriend for a weekend trip, and it was wonderful! They had everything you could need in the cabin, plus some great little perks like wine and snacks. The area was very quiet and the porch with the fire pit was so peaceful at night, and the owners dogs were so sweet and playful, we really enjoyed seeing them! Highly recommend for a weekend away from the city :)

Our stay in the Cowboy cabin was just what we needed. This place is amazing if you want to get away from the city and enjoy the outdoors. Loved not having a schedule and doing what we wanted. The large deck, was awesome along with the gas fireplace. The weather was great and we loved sitting outside at night with the fire going. Loved the trails to walk around the property along with the dog park, our little dog had a great time exploring. Overall this little rustic cabin in the woods is a place we will visit again and were sad that we had to leave. Thanks again for the wonderful experience, it made my girlfriends birthday extra special.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Cowboy Cabin. It was nice to be out in the woods and get away from the city for a couple of days. The cabin was very clean and we really enjoyed the fire pit in the evening. Would definitely stay again.
