VILLA POSIDONIA is a splendid two-storey villa on the coast, enjoying a fantastic view of the sea and the island of Capri. The villa has a total living space of around 340 square meters, can accommodate up to 17 people and features a private swimming pool, a private garden, spacious private terraces with sea views, heating, parking and Wi-Fi.
Villa Posidonia is about 700 m from the centre of Termini, a quaint village around 10 minutes’ drive from Massa Lubrense. Termini enjoys a clear view of the island of Capri and is the perfect starting point for some amazing excursions around Promontorium Minervae (the Roman name for the area). The most iconic part of Termini is the square, Piazza Santa Croce di Termini, with the church of Santa Croce and its own viewpoint looking towards Capri. Besides the church, there are also some restaurants, bars, food shops and the SITA bus stop with services running to Sorrento.
The closest beach, Cala Mitigliano, is around 2.5 km from the villa, and the famous Marina del Cantone is around 5 km away.
The villa is ideally located for exploring the region, and you’ll be able to drive to the most famous places, such as Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi or Pompeii, in just 30 minutes or so. There are also numerous walking routes starting here to take you to Punta Campanella, the most westerly point on the Sorrento Peninsula, where legend says that Ulysses sailed past.
The closest airport, Capodichino Napoli, is around an hour’s drive away.
For a hassle-free stay at Villa Posidonia, we recommend that you have a car available, and there are four reserved parking spaces for you to use. Access to Villa Posidonia is via a narrow street and is not suitable for large 4x4s, campervans or caravans. We recommend hiring a small vehicle.
There are 16 steps between the parking area and the entrance to Villa Posidonia.
This former farmhouse has recently been renovated and has been finely furnished and fitted with modern comforts whilst preserving its rustic charm. Despite the renovation, the villa still maintains the traditional local style both inside and out.
The property is surrounded by a wonderful vegetable garden, so well cared for that it blends in with the rest of the garden, crossed by vine pergolas providing unexpected glimpses of the sea, with the island of Capri in the distance. Each part of the garden, which features a private 4 x 5 m swimming pool with hydromassage and numerous terraces surrounding the villa furnished with tables and chairs, is designed to frame the enchanting landscape of this superb stretch of coast.
The pool is available from 15 May to 16 October.
GROUND FLOOR
THE LOUNGE is spacious and bright and contains a fireplace, a dining table for 10 people, a telephone, sofas, armchairs and a TV with satellite channels and a CD player. The room is fitted with heating. From the lounge, you will have access to a terrace with a sea view, also featuring a dining table for ten people and a table-football table.
THE KITCHEN contains a five-hob gas stove, an electric oven, a fridge with freezer, a moka pot, a dishwasher and other small appliances. From the kitchen, you’ll have access to a second terrace with a table for 10 people, a BBQ and a wood-burning stove. You reach the kitchen from the lounge.
THE FIRST BEDROOM contains a double bed and features a window with a view of the garden. The room is fitted with heating. Access to the bedroom is from the corridor.
THE FIRST BATHROOM contains a sink, bidet, toilet, hairdryer and shower. Access to the bathroom is from the corridor.
UPPER FLOOR (up an internal staircase of 15 steps)
THE SECOND BEDROOM contains three single beds and features a window with a view of the garden. The room is fitted with heating. Access to the bedroom is from the corridor.
THE THIRD BEDROOM contains two single beds and features a window with a view of the garden. The room is fitted with heating. Access to the bedroom is from the corridor.
THE FOURTH BEDROOM contains a queen-size bed and has access to a panoramic terrace with a view of the sea. The room is fitted with air conditioning and heating. Access to the bedroom is from the corridor.
THE FIFTH BEDROOM contains two single beds and features a window with a view of the garden. The room is fitted with heating. Access to the bedroom is from the corridor.
THE SECOND BATHROOM contains a sink, toilet, bidet and shower. Access to the bathroom is from the corridor.
THE THIRD BATHROOM contains a sink, bidet, toilet and bath. Access to the bathroom is from the corridor.
STUDIO APARTMENT (access from the villa’s main entrance)
THE LOUNGE is furnished with a double bed, a table and chairs and a small kitchen corner. From the lounge, you’ll have access to a terrace with a view of the sea.
THE FOURTH BATHROOM contains a sink, bidet, toilet and shower. Access to the bathroom is from the lounge.
THE SIXTH BEDROOM contains a small single bed (suitable for children). Access to the bedroom is from the lounge.
GUEST HOUSE (Access via the garden)
THE VERANDA (enclosed with windows and enjoying a beautiful view of the garden) contains small sofas and a table.
THE LOUNGE contains a sofa and a dining table for four people.
THE KITCHEN contains a four-hob gas stove, a fridge with freezer, an electric oven, a table for four people and other small appliances. Access to the kitchen is from the lounge.
THE SEVENTH BEDROOM contains a double bed and features a window with a view of the garden. Access to the bedroom is from the corridor.
THE EIGHTH BEDROOM contains a bunk bed and features a window with a view of the garden. Access to the bedroom is from the corridor.
THE FIFTH BATHROOM contains a sink, bidet, toilet and shower. Access to the bathroom is from the lounge.
The studio apartment and the guest house are heated with electric heaters.
Important things to know:
- Tourist Tax: 2,00 Euros per person per day for the first 5 nights, from 1st April until 31st October. Children under the age of 18 are exempt from this tax.
- For arrivals after 20:00 an additional cost, to be paid at the arrival, of 60,00 Euros will be applied.
- Damage deposit: 700,00 Euros. The damage deposit will be returned prior to your departure unless there are accidental damages to the property.
- Heating: 35,00 Euros per day.
- Daily cleaning 5 hours per day, 5 days per week: 325,00 Euros.
- Final cleaning: 200,00 Euros.
- Electricity to be paid on the premises for consumption of energy over 250kw per week.
