„Very satisfying and peaceful week “

„Had an amazing stay at this charmer on the coast! Very clean, comfortable, and well cared for. Spent many hours just watching the ducks and birds enjoying the treats that come and go as the tides change. Great jumping off point to enjoy the beautiful coast of Maine! The only drawback is that the road is incredibly close to the house and the traffic noise is impossible to drown out, especially when trying to sleep in the second bedroom. Not ideal, but we would definitely return! “

„This is an older cottage in a beautiful location. Port Clyde is a quaint fishing village with a nearby beach-Drift In Beach. Boat rides to Monhegan Island, kayak rental, and day trips to The Botanical Gardens and Camden Hills State park were highlights. The cottage was comfortable enough, though a small investment in a couple of new sofas and some kitchen utensils would be welcome. A picture window frames an amazing view of the water and boats-the view would be even better with a cleaning.That ...

„Vinalhaven is Maine like it used to be, and this former inn matches it nicely. The house was a cozy spot for our group of family and friends of mixed ages. The many rooms gave everyone space, while the stunning porch allowed for wonderful communal dining and quality time. The house was well appointed (though the bathroomscould be renovated), especially the kitchen that conveniently spanned across three rooms. The hosts were helpful from afar, and quickly did their best to address missing towels. ...

„This property and home exceeded our expectations. Absolutely beautiful, clean, and a wonderful place to stay. My only issue was that getting to the property at night was a little scary because there were no lights on at the property and the area is very remote. It wouldve been helpful to have detailed instructions. “

„The stay was great! We enjoyed Owls Head, the neighborhood was very nice & quiet so we were able to have uninterrupted fun & relax. The internet never worked, not that I wanted to send time on a device, but it would have been nice to be able to research the area & things to do, but that was a struggle. We were short 1 towel for our number of guests. Also, I was disappointed that on the day our last payment was due, we were informed that the well could not handle more than 2 showers an hour. Well ...

„We enjoyed Maine sooo much! The house is a dream! Well equipped, clean and the location is amazing! We did visit Rockland and Rockport several times, there are near and are lovely. Went hiking to Camden and spent the day in the vibrant town. Everything was easy and we will repeated for sure! “
