„We loved the house for it's space and location. It's really well equipped with very comfortable beds. Plenty of room for three families with teenagers. The games room and hot tub were thoroughly enjoyed! Huge kitchen to socialise and cook easily in. Cosy lounge for chilling out. Lovely to have dog bed, bowls, treats etc provided. We enjoyed being able to stroll around Matlock. It was perfect, and we hope to return! “

„We loved our stay in Wirksworth. Such a lovely area for walking and cycling which we were after. The cottage was lovely. Very comfy beds, great sofa and fab log burner. Kitchen has everything you need. The shower is definitely small as the listing says. However i dont thjnk i realised how small - we managed (just) but this is the only negative in an other wise lovely stay. The village is also great, again with everything you need in terms of variety of places to eat and drink.“

„Cottage was clean and well presented with lots of extra touches. Netflix was a bonus! Unfortunately the management company let down the whole experience. Security deposit required prior to releasing check in information, and we emailed them when we found a mouse in the property but they failed to respond. Also the cleaner was waiting for us to leave which wasn’t great! Parking is limited but luckily we found a space on arrival. Dog friendly but be aware no enclosed yard and dogs are not ...

„Our family of 9 (6 seniors, myself, + 2 children) stayed at this lovely property. Plenty of rooms/beds to accommodate a large group. 1 bedroom is separate, a studio apartment adjacent. The house had everything you could need. Well stocked with bedding, kitchen items, appliances. Heating was on so we never felt cold. Garden to enjoy meals/sunsets. Quiet neighborhood. „Jacks cottage was amazing, it had absolutely everything you could need and the host has thought of every detail. The photos don’t do it justice! The cottage was easy to find, really clean and tidy and there’s not a single thing I thought was missing or could be better. The place itself is very cosy and has a lovely cottage/homely feel to it. Amazing hot tub which was hot on our arrival so that was perfect after a days walking! I’d definitely recommend staying here even if you want to explore ...

„Vernon House is a fantastic property. We found the location to be a perfect home base for our England adventures. The home is well appointed and very comfortable. Our stay extended to just under three weeks so we were able to settle into not only the home but the community as well. I can’t think of a more idyllic countryside experience. Locally, be sure to visit E.W. Coates, for meats, Chatsworth Farm Shop for fresh veggies, bread, fruit and sundries. Matlock and Matlock Bath are fun ...

"In meinem Zimmer war ein neues Bad, aber der Rest des Hotel war doch sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Was an sich nicht schlimm ist, wenn es dann sauber und gepflegt ist. In meinem Flur roch es sehr unangenehm. Das Frühstück war ok aber nicht jetzt keine tolle Qualität oder besonders lecker. Eine Kollegin hatte ein altes Bad und Schimmel in diesem. Auf die freundliche Frage, ob sie ein anderes bekommen könnte wurde recht unfreundlich geantwortet, dass es nicht möglich ist. Sehr schade, da das Haus an sich wirklich schön ist. "
