„Our family came down to enjoy the sugar maple festival and stayed at this incredible hidden gem! We enjoyed the giant rec room during a rainy day and explored the property on the nice day! Would definitely stay here again. If you’re an adventurous family who loves history then this is your spot! “

„We had a wonderful stay at this property. The creek and wooded area was fun for our kids to explore and the firepit was perfect for smores every night (with metal sticks provided!). While the kitchen isn't huge, it definitely had plenty of space for our needs and was well stocked with utensils, pots/pans, etc. The beds have the softer memory foam toppers and there were more than enough linens for us to use. Any communication we had with the host was quick and easy.“

I forgot before leaving that the house did not have TV, because I was going to bring one with me. It actually ended up being a much better vacation because we did not have the TV. The proximity to the sites of the festival is perfect; we didn’t feel like we were in the car too long and the views along the drive are amazing. „Our stay was excellent and the property and surrounding area was bliss- private backyard backing up to a creek, quiet and scenic, just wonderful and just as described. The house was well equipped, clean, and had everything we needed for my family (and our two dogs) to enjoy for my birthday weekend. The area is very remote which makes it a great getaway from the busy DC area. Will definitely return again “
