No matter which bedroom you end up with, you will get to wake up every morning to quiet forest views. Wind down with a game of Monopoly around the massive table on the screened porch or allow yourself to quietly binge that new Netflix show everyone at work has been raving about. Whether you enjoy your alone time or revel in a weekend of heavy socializing, you will be able to have that much needed quiet time while a competitive game of charades is being played on the deck. Even the mosquitoes will not bring you down: the deck is screened in, which means that you will not have to smell like bug spray while sipping on your frozen margaritas & dancing the night away to ABBA.
 
You and your crew will be able to enjoy the seclusion of a mountain getaway whilst being able to enjoy what Massanutten Resort has in store. From its top-rated Indoor/Outdoor Waterpark to its Family Adventure Park; its two golf courses and numerous hiking trails; with its several dining hubs, you will be able to unwind over food and drinks without leaving the resort after a fun-filled day. In the unlikely chance that you have exhausted what the resort has to offer, there is a lot to experience in the Shenandoah Valley and its surroundings!

Fire pit didn’t work
Property was well kept. A little frustrated that the fire pit didn’t work. The propane tank was empty and lighter was in op. Also a bit frustrating that you have a cleaning fee and then require occupant to trek up the mountain 5 miles to take trash out. Start laundry and dishwasher and strip beds.

This is a lovely home the host is extremely helpful any questions I had I got immediate response with great hospitality it was really nice. My family really enjoyed our stay. My extended family and my kids all stayed in this home with plenty of room! It was clean, large, and so much better than booking a hotel room! We saw deer every morning off the back porch and the neighborhood was very peaceful. Great vacation home!

Family getaway
The house was in a perfect location. Close to all activities. Plenty of areas for the family to gather together. Loved the shuffleboard table even though I did not win our family tournament. Our negatives were the chairs at the dining room table need to replaced or repaired, the kitchen need some better large utensils such as spoons for serving. Also the shower curtain in the downstairs bathroom is too short and does not keep the water in the shower and the towels provided were small and very thin.

The house set up was great for my family and friends. It was clean and spacious. Both coaches are dangerously too comfortable…be careful or you may fall asleep on it very quickly. I would definitely rebook the house if we decide to come back to the area.

Pros: Great floor plan, great house location, nice to have a flat, wide driveway. Photos of the listing were accurate. Gigantic master bathroom. Comfortable mattresses. No issues with presenting our trip confirmation email at the rec center for complimentary passes. Great streaming channel options on the televisions, plenty of plates, good appliances. House is pet friendly but was still clean/did not smell like pets. Easy to text with the property management company. Cons: Thermostat was all over the place... some areas of the house were warm while others (including the basement and bedrooms) were freezing... Only 6 (small) bath towels provided... Propane tank to the fire pit was empty, which we didn't discover until we went to use it on our last night, so that was a disappointment. The lighting over the dining table was weirdly dim. Washing machine is mildewy. Overall it was a great stay!
