„We only had a half day and one night in the property. It was clean, well-appointed, and perfectly located in the middle of the action. The bed mattress was very soft, so if you need a firm bed it wouldn't work for you. Otherwise the check-in was simple and amenities were nice. “

„Perfect place for a retreat. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the firepit and hot tub overlooking the pond. Definitely will come back.“

„The house is 150 years old. It was about a mile from the trolly stop. If you have problems with stairs, this is not the property for you. The bedrooms and bathrooms were remodeled. “

„A group of friends were looking for more than just our usual monthly "Ladies' Night Out" and thought Hermann would be nice. Helen's House was the absolute perfect venue. Clean, cozy, well cared for little house. Convenient to everything we hoped to do. This may well begone our must-do-again place.“

„This was the Hermann Gangs (6 couples from STL and Springfield MO) third time staying at the Wine Down Guest House and every year gets better and better. Thank you Bart for being so accommodating you’re the best!“

„We had a great stay!! The only piece of criticism would be is that we were kept up by the couple in the room next to us. We could hear everything they were saying through the walls. Even with that we really enjoyed the stay. The suite was very clean and comfortable and the staff was very nice and accommodating! Our driver Jake was also great! We are already thinking about when we want to come back and stay here again!!!!!“
