„My partner, dog and I came to sugar island to experience a new place in the UP and we will certainly be returning to Sweet Retreat!! Sheri and Jeff were the most accommodating of hosts and truly go above and beyond to ensure everyone’s comfort and fun. We used the bikes on the property and were lucky enough to take a pontoon cruise with the hosts our last night. The cabin was absolutely adorable and had everything we needed. I couldn’t recommend staying here enough! We can’t wait to come back!“

„The cabin is absolutely gorgeous, it’s still close to the road but the property feels woodsy with a lot of trees. We loved everything about our stay, we didn’t catch many fish but that was okay. The weather was perfect and would highly recommend this place to anyone that wants to reconnect with nature!!“

„Wow! We were absolutely amazed by the wonderful hospitality of these hosts! They made sure we had everything we needed and provide such a peaceful and gorgeous setting on Sugar Island. „Kristy’s home is beautiful! Ample bedrooms for 10 that includes a cool bunkie with bar and shuffleboard. The house is nicely appointed with pots, pans etc. Very spacious with lots of room in the kitchen and living room to hang out. The screen room off the kitchen was my favourite. Great view and screened to keep the bugs away. The view is wonderful and the property has a relatively long private sand beach that is awesome for swimming, relaxing, launching a paddle-board or kayak. I’m sure ...
