"Ginette and Jean-Jacques could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. The interior of the house is both practical and charming. The exterior and surrounding grounds of the house were enchanting. Each time we went away for a day to do some sight-seeing - on our return, seeing the house always made us smile. In short - if you don't like this house - there is probably something wrong with you. Thank you so much Ginette and Jean-Jacques and, please God, we will see you soon again"

"We had a wonderful stay at the cottage in Chaises Basses. It’s a beautiful, old and rustic farmhouse that was lovingly restored, with many original features including a very large fireplace. "La veranda donnant sur la vallée a ete tres appréciée en raison du temps pluvieux et pas tres chaud tout au long de notre sejour. Gite tres agreable et bon accueil du propriétaire. Petit coin coocooning en hiver ou quand il ne fait pas beau. Sans doute tres tres agreable en été,... nous reviendrons le tester avec le soleil. Bien situé au.milieu de la nature et aux portes de la ville."

"Remote location. Pool closed until later than advertised so only enjoyed a v short swim before leaving. No food shop on site. Fully equipped kitchen. Would have been good to have milk and tea bags etc provided. Great potential. Lovely setting "

"Greeting from Karen & Richard was so nice. A lovely couple who presented the property so very well. The gardens were immaculate and brilliant for the kids and our dog. We had a fantastic relaxing week. Visiting a few beautiful chateau’s. Great location just a few miles from the motorway, in the fantastic French country side. So access to the surrounding towns and villages are easy."

"Maison ancienne aux murs sales ou avec un beaucoup de chance vous aurez de la lumière dans l'escalier ou la porte des WC ne peux pas se fermer. Un seul bruleur fonctionne sur la plaque de cuisson et si vous tentez d'allumer le four l'installation électrique disjoncte. il y a bien 2 convecteurs électriques mais ceci sont coupé par le propriétaire au tableau électrique qui n'est pas accessible au locataire. etc... Attention propriétaire plus que roublard."

"Large comfy beds, rooms spacious and clean. Overall feel ‘Rustic’ Nice large and clean pool. Staff / owner very pleasant and helpful. Restaurant is excellent, and the food utterly delicious. Sat on terrace overlooking pool and distant countryside views, what more to want! Would recommend."
