Great getaway
We had a perfect stay at the perfect Riverfront cabin. The cabin lived up to every detail of its listing and was perfect for our family getaway with the grand baby. We had everything we needed, and were extremely comfortable. We fished from the bank, and in the river, and played in the expansive yard. We went into town for a day, and explored as well. The cave was a fun adventure. So much to do so near the cabin, we could not have asked for a better place to stay. All the comforts of home were there. Thank you so much for a perfect getaway!

Fantastic cabin in a peaceful location
The cabin is really nice, spacious and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the back porch and fire pit. The location is very beautiful and we were able to watch wildlife on the opposite shore. We had an emergency while we were there and cannot express our thanks enough to the Ruthie Mountain VFD. I hope you don’t need them during your stay, but if you do, know that they respond quickly and professionally. Our host was very gracious and helpful.

For what we were doing this was absolutely fantastic, family from south met up with us and we just had time to enjoy each other. The cabin is absolutely beautiful and the quiet setting was perfect.

Wonderful White River Getaway
We loved our family 4 day weekend. Home is Wonderfully laid out, well appointed and very comfortable. Lots of property to roam and enjoy the view of the white river the house. Only suggestion… If you plan on fly fishing at the property, bring you a small ladder to get down to the water level, there is a significant drop off. The road in to the property is borderline treacherous, but we managed👀. That being said, can’t wait for our next opportunity to visit this property. would highly recommend for families and groups that want to get away from everything.

Absolutely Perfect
Cabin was clean, super well stocked, and beautiful. They provide Literally everything you need except groceries. The property is well maintained, clear, and spacious. The only thing to be aware of (and I don’t consider this a negative, just a note) is the last 1/2 mile of the drive is pretty rugged. That said, part of my family made it in a tiny hybrid. This place is deserves more than 5 stars.

Dream vacation
This is the most perfect place ever! For me it is! The cabin is everything it says it is! It’s private, and secluded! We saw deer in the yard, rabbits, turkeys and caught trout right out back! I hate going to crowded vacation destinations thinking I’m gonna relax! It never is relaxing! This place is 15 miles from anglers trout dock and they have the nicest boats! It’s just far enough to be really secluded! Mountain View is got to be the greatest place ever for a real family together vacation! We really enjoyed the fire pit! The owners of the cabin are so nice, and they thought of everything! They even have marshmallow/ hotdog roasting sticks! Literally all you need to bring is you food! I love the well water in the cabin! It reminds me of my grandmother’s house! They have games for the kids! Indoor and outdoor games! I recommend this vaccination destination to anyone! And I would not even consider staying anywhere else! We are coming back in the fall!

Great Relaxing get away
This property was everything they said it was! Well equipped with all needed appliances. The setting was good, with lots of privacy. We love the fire pit with the cedar wood that produces very little smoke. It was close enough to Mountain View we could reasonably get to and from. We took two guided trout fishing trip while there and caught a ton of fish! Great place! We will book again without question!

The house was perfect size and was very homey. It fit our stay well and everyone enjoyed the stay. Two drawbacks: The road going in and out could be better. There are a few limbs blocking the view to the river that could be cut and open up the view. Very nice and quiet place to stay.

The home has the most fully stocked kitchen ever in a rental. Even batteries for my flashlight. Four bedrooms a big plus. Great views of the White River. A wonderful screened porch. And a firepit with unique Stoneheng-ian seating!

Property was as advertised. Location was beautiful. Street signs were really bad but that wasn't the fault of the owners. A couple of minor issues but that did not change my rating. and did not interfere with our stay. Overall, I would highly recommend to anyone who was looking for a great hideaway, and peaceful vacation. Sonja was very helpful and very attentive.

Rustic Roomy Cabin
This was a wonderful place for me my wife, son and daughter in law and our two grandsons( 8 and 10 years old) to spend a week fishing, exploring, site seeing, hiking, and not too distant shopping for some really unique, locally made items in the quaint little town of Mountain View. The cabin was well equipped, especially the kitchen. There is a nice gas grill ( propane is provided ) a great fire pit, where my grandsons really enjoyed roasting hotdogs and marshmallows for smores. The cabin owner also provided plenty of firewood for the fire pit. The view there is amazing, looking at the White River just about 250 feet from the cabins screened in balcony (porch). There cabin is roomy and the beds were so comfortable that it made it hard to want to get up in the morning. The only drawbacks are the short drive off of the paved road to the cabin is a little rough and phone service, at least T-Mobile, was at best spotty, but if your trying to get away from it all that can also be a blessing. I would highly recommend this property for those seeking a remote, relaxing place, to enjoy natures beauty and an escape from life’s hustle and bustle.
